Jos Butler outshines Kohli as RR won by 6 wickets

Rajasthan Royals (RR) winning streak continues as Jos Butler got the upper hand against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the run machine day and won the match by 6 wickets. 

Royals posted 183/3 in 20 overs and the other royal chased down the target in 19.1 overs and scored 189/4. 

Bengaluru with this loss completed their hattrick of losses in this season. Lastly they got defeated when they were beaten by LSG by 28 runs. While Rajasthan got their 4th victory in a row and their last victory came when they defeated MI by 6 wickets. 

Virat Kohli registered his 8th century in the IPL and scored unbeaten 113 runs in 72 balls. He hit 12 fours and 4 sixes in his knock and continued his orange cap holding. 

He got good support from the skipper Faf du Plessis who got 44 runs with the bat. Both of them managed 125 runs for the first wicket. 

Yuzvendra Chahal got 2 wickets while Nandre Burger got 1 wicket.

In the chase, Rajasthan lost Yashasvi Jasiwal early as he was dismissed in a duck. But then skipper Sanju Samson and Jos Butler provided 148 runs for the 2nd wicket. Samson hit 69 runs whereas Butler got unbeaten 100 runs. 

Butler got his rhythm back and it was worth the wait as he played 57 balls and hit 9 fours and 4 sixes whereas Samson hit 8 fours and 22 sixes in his 42 balls knock. 

Reece Topley got 2 wickets whereas Yash Dayal and Mohammad Siraj got 1 wicket each.
