India (IND) Analysis:

They are the only team in the World Cup who has not suffered from any loss. They are brilliant in both the departments. They are going good with the opening batting. And their bowling is extremely perfect. Their fielding has been in top class in this tournament. The only thing that might be a concern for them is that they won all the matches while chasing and they have yet to defend any total.

The Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is leading from the front and has started destructively in every match. He has scored 311 runs with an impressive strike rate of 133.48. He has hit 1 century and 1 half century to his name. The other Indian sensation Shubman Gill who has recovered from the dengue has been looking solid with the shots. He has scored his maiden half century in the World Cup which came against Bangladesh.

Virat Kohli is showing his class in his batting. He has made 354 runs with an average of 118. He hit 1 century and 3 half centuries. Against the Kiwis he missed his century just by 5 runs. He has a great ability to convert the runs. He is in beast mode in this tournament, started slowly and after gaining the momentum he just played his shots all around the ground. Shreyas Iyer has 1 half century to his name. He started well but still he needs to convert his innings into a big one.

KL Rahul is just making things comfortable for the captain in the middle order as he is highly consistent with the batting. He scored 177 runs but having an average of 177 which easily defines how matured innings he is playing. Hardik Pandya has been injured and will not be available against England. But he has more impact with the ball than the bat.

Suryakumar Yadav played in the last match but was unfortunate as he got run out and only managed just 2 runs. But has a great hitting power and can be highly destructive in the death overs. Ishan Kishan played the first 2 matches and against Afghanistan he played well and scored 47 runs.

Ravindra Jadeja  has been sensational with the ball and has 7 wickets to his name. In the middle overs he was just too commendable as batsmen found it difficult to hit him. Also he has an economy 3.97. With the bat he is also useful and he showed that against Kiwis where he scored 39 runs. Mohammad Shami played his first match of the tournament against New Zealand and there he grabbed 5 wickets and made his presence highly sound.

Kuldeep Yadav has 8 wickets into his pocket till now and being the team main spinner has an economy of 4.74. Jasprit Bumrah has been in perfect line and length due to which he got 11 wickets. His economy is 3.81 which is highly commendable. He is definitely unbeatable in the starting and death overs.

Mohammad Siraj has taken 6 wickets but was lacking little with his line and length due to which he was expensive in most of his spells. But his wicket taking ability as partnership breaker makes him highly useful for the team. Shardul Thakur has got just 2 wickets and couldn’t bowl much. He can also bat lower down the order. Ravichandran Ashwin played the first match against Aussies where he got 1 wicket by giving away only 34 runs.

Predicted 11 for the Match:

Rohit Sharma ©, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav/ Ishan Kishan, KL Rahul (wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammad Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Siraj.

England (ENG) Analysis:

The defending champion has lost its path on the road to victory. They won just one match in 5 matches. They are struggling in both batting and bowling. Their bowling has been average throughout the tournament. They are unable to make big partnerships. Despite having such a long batting line up they were unable to score many runs on the board.

Dawid Malan is the only centurion from the side and has scored 220 runs till now. But after scoring his century he was looking little offset as in the remaining matches he was unable to score much. Jonny Bairstow has managed just one half century in the World Cup till now. He started well but couldn’t convert that into a big one.

Joe Root started the tournament with two back to back 50’s but after that his scores were 11, 2 & 3 runs. He is the one of the most dependable batsmen from the side. He needs to be more consistent with the bat so that pressure from the team will be a little bit low. Ben Stokes played in the last two matches where he scored 5 & 43 runs. He is one of the most destructive batters from the side and can easily switch on the beast mode easily.

Jos Butler the skipper from the side has not played according to his name. He made just 43, 20, 9, 15 & 8 runs. He needs to be more consistent with the bat. Harry Brook except against Afghanistan he has not been looking in touch. Against Afghans he scored 66 runs and in the rest of the matches he was not able to score huge. Liam Livingstone a great hitter of the ball, has been silent with the bat. He scored 20, 0, 10 & 1 runs. This score doesn’t define his batting performance.

Moeen Ali has played 2 matches in the tournament but was not that convincing with the bat and bowl. Chris Woakes has not been in form with the bat and also with the bowl. He has taken 2 wickets till now in the World Cup and with the bat he has not been able to put any runs. David Willey has taken 2 wickets in 2 matches but still not getting that touch with the ball. Sam Curran is highly expensive with the ball and with the bat he was unable to get touch for which he is known for. His hard hitting skills are missing.

Adil Rashid the main spinner of the team has 6 wickets in his pockets. He is showing little consistency with the ball as he got wicket with some economical spells. Mark Wood the speedstar of the team has taken 3 wickets only and he was mostly expensive with the spells and unable to maintain that consistency with the ball. Gus Atkinson played only one match against South Africa where he got 2 wickets and with the bat he added 35 runs to the team in the lower order.
