The Bengal Tigers started their journey with a win over Afghanistan but after they just lost the rhythm and losses in a streak. They were unable to create big partnerships and with the bowl they are mostly expensive.

Liton Das has two half centuries to his name in this World Cup. He scored 177 runs with a strike rate of 83.89. His highest score is 76 runs which came against England. Tanzid Hasan scored a brilliant half century against India but he couldn’t carry this form in the last match against South Africa. Najmul Hossain Shanto started with a half century against Afghanistan where he scored 59 runs but after that he just remained in single digits 0, 7, 8 & 0 runs.
One of the greatest all rounder in the World and team’s leader Shakib Al Hasan perfromes average in this tournament. With the bat he is still seeking for a half century his highest score was 40 runs which was against the Kiwis. Though with the ball he got 6 wickets but he needs to be more consistent here also with the wickets. Mushfiqur Rahim one of the most experienced guys in the squad has scored 165 runs with 2 fifties. He is one of the team’s main successors in the middle order.
Mahmudullah showed great strength against Proteas where he was lonely fighting against the bowlers and hit a brilliant century. He has 198 runs till now in his pocket with a heavy strike rate of 101.02. Mehidy Hasan Miraz sharted the World Cup with the player of the match but after that he was not so consistent with the bat. In his bowling he is still the best bowler from the side with 6 wickets in pocket with an economy of 5.33.
Nasum Ahmed in both the last over which he played was unable to pick any wickets and he might again be replaced by Taskin Ahmed. Taskin Ahmed only has picked 2 wickets which didn’t justify his experience in the international; he needs to be more consistent with the ball. Hasan Mahmud though took 3 wickets in 2 matches but was expensive in both of the matches. He contributed some valuable runs with the bat in the lower order.
Mustafizur Rahman has lost his wicket picking especially in the death overs. Till now in the tournament he got 2 wickets and most of his spells were expensive. His slow ball technique has now failed, ultimately batsmen pick him easily. Shoriful Islam the left handed pacer has picked 6 wickets in the tournament but he was expensive in his spells which cost them the match. Against England he missed the hattrick but after that he was not looking in great line and length.

Vikarmjit Singh started the journey with a brilliant half century against Pakistan but after that he was unable to convert his runs into a big one and got out early. His remaining scores were 12, 2 , 4 & 25 runs. Max O’Dowd has not been performing well till now in the tournament. His highest score was 18 runs which came against South Africa. He really needs to start good with Vikramjit.
Colin Ackermann scored a brilliant half century against New Zealand but after that he started well but couldn’t capitalize it well. With the bowling department he has 4 wickets in his pocket. Sybrand Engelbrecht made a superb 70 runs against the Lankans. Due to which he was promoted up in the order against Aussies but there he failed miserably. Though he is performing quite well as compared to other players in the squad.
Bas de Leede started off the World Cup with a half century against Pakistan but after that he just lost his touch in his batting and in the last 3 matches he got out on a single digit. With the bowl he took most wickets for his team and grabbed 9 wickets, but his unusual record which was created against Australia where he was the most expensive bowler in the ODI World Cup as he gave 115 runs in his 10 overs though he got 2 wickets. Scott Edwards the leader of the team has played brilliantly against the Proteas due to which his team posted a defending total but except that he was not that good with the bat.
Teja Nidamanuru has failed miserably in this tournament with the highest score of 21 runs which was against Kiwis. Logan van Beek has been sensational against Australia where he got 4 wickets and his total wickets in the tournament is 8. Roelof van der Merwe is carrying huge experience in the international circuit as he had earlier played for South Africa and he was performing well in the match against Proteas.
Aryan Dutt, the opening bowler of the team has taken 7 wickets in the tournament till now. His economy is 5.52 which is much much more excellent than the other teammates. Paul van Meekeren has 6 wickets in his pocket but most of his spells remain expensive.
