GT won the low scoring match against PBKS

Gujarat Titans (GT) managed their 4th victory of the season after defeating Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 3 wickets. 

Kings scored 142/10 in 20 overs and in reply Titans scored 146/7 in 19.1 overs. 

In their previous encounter, where Gujarat was forwarding towards an easy victory but Punjab’s Shashank Singh clinched the victory from their mouth

After winning the toss, Punjab opted bowling. 

They got a perfect start as Sam Curran and Prabhsimran Singh scored 52 runs for the 1st wicket. Prabhsimran was the highest scorer from the team as he got 35 runs in 21 balls and hit 3 fours and 3 sixes. After the fall of the first wicket, the team suddenly collapsed and at one point they lost 7 wickets in just 99 runs. 

Towards the end Harpreet Brar showed some destructive batting and scored 29 runs in just 12 balls where he hit 4 fours and a six. Due to his power hitting the team managed to get past 140 mark. 

Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore got his best performance in the IPL after getting 4 wickets in his 4 overs and giving away only 33 runs. Mohit Sharma and Noor Ahmed got 2 wickets each while Rashid Khan got 1 wicket. 

In the chase, Shubman Gill gave the team a steady start as he scored 35 runs in 29 balls and hit 5 boundaries. B Sai Sudharsan also tried his best after scoring 31 runs but for this he took 34 balls. Then after this the team started losing a couple of wickets and were on the backfoot. 

But Rahul Tewatia had some other plans. His aggressive batting took the team to victory. He scored 36 runs in just 18 balls which includes 7 fours.

Harshal Patel got 3 wickets while Liam Livingstone got 2 wickets. Arshdeep Singh and Sam Curran got 1 wicket each.
