CSK stopped the winning streak of KKR

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) showed their home domination power once again and this time they derailed Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) undefeated streak by 7 wickets. 

Knight Riders scored 137/9 in 20 overs and in reply Super Kings posted 141/3 in 17.4 overs. 

Kolkata got their hattrick win before this and their last win came against DC where they demolished them and won the match by 106 runs while Chennai lost their last match and it was against SRH where Hyderabad pulled up the things and won the match by 6 wickets. 

Chennai after winning the toss goes for bowling. 

Sunil Narine again got his team a destructive start as he scored 27 runs in 20 balls in which he hit 3 fours and 2 sixes. Skipper Shreyas Iyer topped the chart for his team in this match after scoring 34 runs. But this knock was a little slow as he took 32 balls to reach there.  

After that none of the other batters provided valuable runs to the team and at last they couldn’t get par 150 mark.

Ravindra Jadeja bowled his best spell so far in this IPL after getting 3 wickets in 4 overs and he conceded only 18 runs. Tushar Despande also grabbed 3 wickets. While Mustafizur Rahman again claimed the purple cap after grabbing 2 wickets. Maheesh Theekshana got 1 wicket. 

During the chase, the skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad led from the front and scored his first half-century in this season. He scored 67 runs in 58 balls in which 9 boundaries were included. He got good support from Daryl Mitchell as he scored 25 runs and both of them together added 70 runs for the 2nd wicket.   

Towards the end, Shivam Dube again showed his class and hit 28 runs in just 18 balls in which 3 sixes were there. 

Vaibhav Arora got 2 wickets while Sunil Narine claimed 1 wicket.
