Bumrah, Surya and Ishan blew RCB away with a huge win

Firstly it was Jasprit Bumrah’s fifer in a batsmen dominating match and then later guided by Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav’s blasting knocks took Mumbai Indians (MI) to a dominating victory against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by 7 wickets.

Bengaluru scored 196/8 in 20 overs and Mumbai in return scored 199/3 in 15.3 overs.

Mumbai registered their first season’s victory in their last match where they showed a proper class of batting against DC whereas Bengaluru got defeated in their last encounter where RR got the easy victory

Hardik after winning the toss goes for bowling.

Skipper Faf du Plessis got his team a solid start as he registered his first half-century in this season after scoring 61 runs in 40 balls. He was well supported by Rajat Patidar who also got his first 50+ score in this season. He scored 50 runs in 26 balls.

Both of them added 82 runs for the 3rd wicket. Patidar hit 3 fours and 4 sixes while du Plessis hit 4 fours and 3 sixes in their knocks. But it was Dinesh Karthik whose destruction took the team score close to 200. Karthik in 23 balls scored 53 runs in which 5 fours and 4 sixes were included and he remained unbeaten till the end.

On a runs rainy day, Jasprit Bumrah was just too fabulous with his spell as he got 5 wickets in his 4 overs by giving away only 21 runs. After this spell he got the purple cap as he got 10 wickets in this season till now. Shreyas Gopal, Akash Madhwal and Gerald Coetzee got 1 wicket each.

In the chase, Mumbai Indians were exceptionally too furious. All the batters got the royal bowlers too heavy. In their innings there were hardly any dot balls seen.

Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma got 101 runs for the 1st wicket in just 8.5 overs. Ishan scored 69 runs in 34 balls in which he hit 7 fours and 5 sixes. Rohit scored 38 runs in 24 balls where 3 fours and 3 sixes were included.

After that Suryakumar Yadav showed his blistering power after scoring 52 runs in 19 balls. He hit 5 fours and 4 sixes in his knock with a strike rate of 273.68. Hardik Pandya with a six got his team a great victory. He scored unbeaten 21 runs in just 6 balls and hit 3 sixes.
