The 13th match of the tournament between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The match between them will start at 7:30 P.M. (IST).
Teams Analysis:
Chennai Super Kings (CSK):
Currently the table topper in the points table with 4 points in 2 matches. In both the matches they won easily. Firstly in the season opener match, where they won against RCB by 6 wickets and then complete domination against GT as they won it by 63 runs.
Rachin Ravindra, the new addition to the team, batting with a strike rate of above 200 in both of the matches. He scored 37 & 46 runs and gave the team a destructive start. On the other hand, new skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad, after struggling in the first match looked little confident in the last match against Gujarat where he scored 46 runs.
Shivam Dube is currently holding most runs for the team in this season where he scored 85 runs with a strike rate of 166.66. He scored a super fast fifty against Bengaluru where he made 51 runs in 23 balls. Daryl Mitchell didn’t get to bat much but still the balls he faced didn’t show any emphasis.
Sameer Rizvi, the new find of the team, was in the limelight when he hit back to back 2 sixes against Rashid Khan in the last match. Those two shots will definitely boost him up as he hits against one of the best bowlers in the T20s and will help him to score big in upcoming matches. One of the most exciting things that the fans want to see is MS Dhoni’s batting, which is yet to watch.
Ravindra Jadeja’s all-round show is continuing as he contributes well with the bat as well as with the bowl. He is also known for his finishing skills and can take wickets whenever the team wants. Mustafizur Rahman is leading the chart in the bowling department as he holds the purple cap and has taken 6 wickets till now. His slow bouncers in the death overs are hard to play by the batters.
Tushar Despande after being expensive in the first match got his rhythm back in the next match and got 2 wickets by giving away only 21 runs in his 4 overs. Deepak Chahar also bowled brilliantly against GT and took 2 wickets in his 4 overs by giving away 28 runs.
Probable playing 11 for the match:
Ruturaj Gaikwad ©, Rachin Ravindra, Ajinkya Rahane, Shivam Dube, Daryl Mitchell, Ravindra Jadeja, Sameer Rizvi, MS Dhoni (wk), Deepak Chahar, Tushar Despande, Mustafizur Rahman.

His opening partner Mitchell Marsh failed to capitalize after starting the innings with the destruction. Rishabh Pant too failed to get a good score in this season. Firstly he made 18 runs and then he got 28 runs to his credit. He is a clean hitter of the ball and can increase the run-rate anytime he wants. After missing the last season due to injury, he is in search of a good knock. Tristan Stubbs impressed with his batting in the last match where he scored unbeaten 44 runs in 23 balls and almost got to the finishing line but failed.
Axar Patel is yet to provide his sparkling performance in both the departments. He has the ability to hit and bowl economically in any conditions. Kuldeep Yadav bowled brilliantly against Punjab but leaked runs against Rajasthan. Though he has 3 wickets to his name till now.
Khaleel Ahmed also got 3 wickets in 2 matches and bowled well against RR as he got 1 wicket by giving away only 24 runs in his 4 overs. Ishant Sharma is yet to recover fully from his injury in the first match that he played.
