Rishabh Pant ended the wait and revealed his comeback

India’s destructive wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant who got injured in a road accident is yet to make his comeback. Some huge speculations were there that he might be seen in IPL 2024.

In a recent interview, he revealed that he is currently not 100% fit but can regain his full fitness within a few months. Also he revealed how much love and support he got from the fans, which helps him in faster recovery. From this we can somehow say he might be seen in the world’s most expensive league in cricket.

He got injured on 30th December 2022, and after that he missed many major tournaments. He has got so many injuries during that road accident which took time to recover. He was seen doing multiple exercises to get back his fitness and also played some cricket with the tennis ball.

Rishabh Pant says,

“I am still in recovery to 100% but hopefully in a few months time I will be able to do it. It has been really amazing because whenever we keep playing cricket we feel no one loves us because there is so much pressure. Yes, it was a hard time, but at least I got to know that people love and respect me and the kind of concern that they showed by heartwarming and crazy for me. It means a lot and helps a lot in recovery.”

Currently he is with the Delhi Capitals (DC) in Dubai for the auction of players on 19th December. Delhi has released 11 players in which big names like Manish Pandey, Sarfaraz Khan, etc are included and retained 16 players and have a purse value of 28.95 crore left.

If he gets to play the 2024 IPL, then he will again back as a skipper of the team.
