RCB’s unstoppable force against GT

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) survived the victory after a sudden failure in the batting lineup. They beat Gujarat Titans (GT) by 4 wickets. It was their third win in a row. With this win they climb to the 7th position in the points table.

Titans scored 147/10 in 19.3 overs and Royal Challengers got in overs.

Both the teams played their last match against each other where Will Jacks century got an easy win for Bengaluru.

After winning the toss, Bengaluru chose to bowl first.

A poor performance by the top order as they lost 3 wickets in just 19 runs. Then David Miller (30 runs) and Shahrukh Khan (37 runs) got some momentum for the team after adding 61 runs for the 4th wicket.

Rahul Tewatia (35 runs) also indeed made valuable runs to the team towards the end. Due to the brilliance of these three they managed to get close to 150.

Yash Dayal, Mohammad Siraj and Vijaykumar Vyshak got 2 wickets each. Cameron Green and Karn Sharma got 1 wicket each.

In the chase, a destructive start was given by Faf du Plessis (64 runs) and Virat Kohli (42 runs). Both of them made 92 runs in the powerplay. Du Plessis played 23 balls and hit 10 fours and 3 sixes.

Things just changed after the fall of the first wicket as they lost the next 5 by adding 25 more runs. But then Dinesh Karthik (21 runs not out) and Swapnil Singh (15 runs not out) came as a saviour and got the 2 points for the team.

Joshua Little was the one who provided damage to the team as he took back to back 4 wickets. While Noor Ahmed grabbed 2 wickets.
