Pakistan team shocked as duo bids farewell before T20 World Cup

Pakistan got another shocking news as their head coach and director Mickey Arthur and batting coach Andrew Puttick resigned from their respective post and they will serve till the end of January.

Earlier their head bowling coach Grant Bradburn exited the team due to the end of his tenure with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Arthur joined the team before the ODI World Cup in April 2023 while Puttick joined the team same as Arthur.

PCB said, “All three individuals informed the Pakistan Cricket Board of their decision to leave their respective jobs by the end of January 2024. The decision was taken amicably between all the stakeholders.”

Mickey Arthur was in highlight, during the ODI World Cup match between IND-PAK as he commented on a controversial statement after the match as the fans were supporting Indians more than the Pakistan players which resulted in losing the match.

Both of them didn’t travel with the team in the ongoing Australia series, as a result Mohammad Hafeez handling the responsibility of head coach and director of the team.
