MI’s last-minute heroics break PBKS hearts

Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 9 runs. Throughout the match, it was looking 50-50 from both the sides as sometimes Mumbai looked solid and sometimes Punjab but at last the victory went to men in blue. 

Mumbai scored 192/7 in 20 overs and Punjab in reply scored 183/10 in 19.1 overs. 

Mumbai and Punjab lost their last matches, Hardik and company lost against Chennai by 20 runs while Kings lost against RR by 3 wickets

Sam Curran after winning the toss goes for bowling. 

Suryakumar yadav led the team with his brilliancy in batting after scoring 78 runs in 53 balls. In his knock he hit 7 fours and 3 sixes. He along with Rohit Sharma put 81 runs for the 2nd wicket. Rohit scored 36 runs in 25 balls and hit 2 fours and 3 sixes. 

Towards the end, Tilak Varma’s destructive batting took the score close to 200. He scored 34 runs in 18 balls which includes 2 fours and 2 sixes. 

Harshal Patel got 3 wickets. Sam Curran got 2 wickets while Kagiso Rabada got 1 wicket. 

A pathetic batting performance shown by the Kings batters as they lost 4 wickets in just 14 runs. Top order failed miserably. Then the inform batters in the team Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma again show their power in the batting. Shashank scored 41 runs in 25 balls and hit 2 fours and 3 sixes. 

Ashutosh played one step ahead and scored his maiden half-century in the IPL. He scored 61 runs in just 28 balls and hit 2 fours and 7 sixes. Due to his batting it looked a simple chase down but unfortunately after his departure the team suddenly lost the remaining wickets quickly.

Jasprit Bumrah again bamboozled the opposition with fierce bowling as he got 3 wickets in 4 overs and gave only 21 runs. He is currently wearing the purple cap as he grabbed 13 wickets till now. Gerald Coetzee also supported him and got 3 wickets. Hardik Pandya, Shreyas Gopal and Akash Madhwal got 1 wicket each.
