Sunrisers tried too many combinations in this season but none of them showed any consistency. Anmolpreet Singh and Abhishek Sharma opened the innings in the last two matches but they also didn’t get success. Abhishek Sharma’s performance goes up and down throughout the season.
Glenn Maxwell performed brilliantly against RR and made 54 runs in 33 balls. He is striking the ball pretty hard. His strike rate is 182.86 and has scored 384 runs till now.
Rahul Tripathi’s this season is not good as of now and scored 258 runs till now. Aiden Markram also did not perform as expected and despite getting a good start of the season, he didn’t utilize it well and in the 2nd half he was seen hardly scoring runs.

Dinesh Karthik is not performing for which he is well known for in the last 4-5 years. He couldn’t score runs in the death overs and he just made 140 runs till now. Anuj Rawat in his last match against RR scored 29 runs in 11 balls and showed some fireworks in the end.
Heinrich Klassen is the only player from the squad who scored runs. He made 326 runs till now in the tournament. Knocking with a brilliant strike rate of 172.49. Abdul Samad shows some destruction but not with consistency.
RCB do have a great record in powerplay in terms of wicket taking. Mohd Siraj leading the team with 16 wickets till now. Wayne Parnell bowled brilliantly against RR and took 3 wickets. Harshal Patel also performed decently in the last match. Josh Hazelwood and Wanindu Hasaranga didn’t play the last match due to minor injury and their availability is still not confirmed.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s 5 wicket haul in the last match against GT goes in vain. He took 14 wickets till now in the season and is team’s highest wicket taker. Mayank Markande shows some great spells in the starting but later on he goes expensive in his spells and unable to grab the wickets. Marco Jansen and T Natarajan neither provide economic spells nor take early wickets.
