Yashasvi Jaiswal is looking in great form in this season. He is 2nd in the orange cap list and scored 575 runs. He is just one run short from Faf du Plessis. Jaiswal scored a superb knock of 98 runs in just 47 balls against KKR. He showed the destruction from the very first ball he faced and made 26 runs against Nitish Rana in the first over. Faf du Plessis averaged over 50 in this season. He scored 576 runs in 11 innings and is currently wearing the orange cap. Against MI in the last match he made 65 runs. He is highly consistent in this season and also performs the leadership well. Virat Kohli also showed his consistency and he made 420 runs till now. He started a little slowly but once he settled down then he found the gap and scored like a bullet.

Sanju Samson finally looking back on track. In his last two matches he scored well. He is the man who always remains calm in difficult situations and leads the team brilliantly. After losing three matches back to back, win against KKR that too with easy chase down the target, Samson might feel a little bit light as the team’s chances to reach the playoffs is quite high. RR won the match against KKR by 9 wickets.

Glenn Maxwell showed his hard hitting against MI by contributing 68 runs in 33 balls. Team needs more innings like this in all the remaining matches so that RCB can make their place in the playoffs. His performance goes up and down in the tournament but Challengers need his presence in the pitch during batting so that the team can score a high amount of runs.

Rajasthan need that their finishers do their job well so that it doesn’t create any headache for the batsman in the upper order. Shimron Hetmyer who in the last few matches didn’t contribute much with the bat needs to perform at the closing stage so that the team can make it to the next round easily. Dhruv Jurel the youngster got less chance to play but still in his short duration of gameplay he left an impact and his performance is much needed in the death overs.

RCB also needs finishers to provide valuable runs in the end but none of them show consistent performance. Dinesh Karthik scored 30 runs against MI but his level of batting is too high. He needs to use his experience and put heavy runs on the board. Kedar Jadhav played the first match of the season but he also couldn’t provide much. Mahipal Lomror has the ability to play lofted shots in the end and Challengers need those kinds of shots from their all death over specialist.

Rajasthan had a much experienced bowling lineup as compared to other teams. Yuzvendra Chahal once again showed the magic of his fingers and grabbed 21 wickets till now. He is 2nd in the list of purple cap. In his last match against KKR he took 4 wickets and stopped them from scoring a big total. R Ashwin off spin creates problems for the opponents. He took 14 wickets till now in the season. Trent Boult also regained his form and took 2 wickets in his last outing. Sandeep Sharma also supports Boult in the pace department.

Mohd Siraj is the most successful bowler from the side . He took 15 wickets in the season till now. But his last few matches did not go well. He needs to be more precise with his bowling line and length. Wanindu Hasaranga did not perform according to the expectation. He mostly goes expensive in his spells. Harshal Patel also gives easy runs to the opponents. Josh Hazelwood misses his length and gets beaten by batsmen.
