Rohit Sharma the skipper of the team leading from the front as he always gave the team a proper start as the team needs. He plays according to the situation but most of the time he is destructive with his batting style and takes the bowlers from the very first over. Virat Kohli is the only batsman in this tournament who is scoring runs with an average over 100. He scored 543 runs which includes 2 centuries and 4 half centuries. Shreyas Iyer got his rhythm back and scored 2 back to back half centuries. KL Rahul is currently the Mr dependable of India’s team and performs well when the team requires to score most. Against Australia he made an unbeaten knock of 97 runs which eventually won the match for his team. Also he is a flexible player and can play in any position. Suryakumar Yadav is known for his powerful hitting and once he gets the timing well then it will be a destructive side for any one to watch out. He played a valuable 49 runs against England which helped the team to post a defendable total.  

Ishan Kishan played the first 2 matches in the World Cup in absence of Gill. he played well against Afghanistan where he scored 47 runs and might be seen in the match against Dutch. Opponents find it quite difficult to play him. His best performance was against Afghanistan where he took 4 wickets. Kuldeep Yadav is the main spinner of the team and has taken 12 wickets till now. His economy is 4.16 and provided trouble to the opposition with his wrist spin. 

Mohammad Siraj after struggling in the starting matches he got his rhythm back and took 10 wickets in the tournament. In the last two matches he was hard to find and was beaten. Prasidh Krishna got included into the team after Hardik Pandya exited from the tournament. He is a young pacer and has greater speed. Also he might be seen in the playing 11 against Netherlands.

They came through the Qualifiers and gave their 100% on the pitch. Their bowling was excellent but some flaws in their batting line up as none of the batters performed consistently.

Wesley Barresi played in the last three matches and scored 41, 1 and 37 runs. He didn’t get much opportunity in this tournament but showed quite well batting. Max O’Dowd hasn’t been able to perform well in this tournament. He got out early and was unable to score much. His highest score was 42 runs which came against Afghanistan, except this match he couldn’t provide much.  

Colin Ackermann, one of the best all-rounders from the team has decent performance in both the departments. With the bat he scored 156 runs and his best was against New Zealand where he scored 69 runs and with the bowl he took 5 wickets. Bas de Leede has grabbed the most wickets for the team with 14 to his name. He mostly got wickets in the matches. Also with the bat he played brilliantly against Pakistan where he scored 67 runs. 

Sybrand Engelbrecht is the highest run scorer for the team with 255 runs in his credit which includes 2 half centuries. His highest score was 70 runs which he scored against Sri Lanka. Scott Edwards the skipper of the team has scored 2 half centuries and in those matches the team won the match. His 78 runs against South Africa was the highest score by him in the World Cup

Teja Nidamanuru was unable to score many runs in the tournament but in the last match against England he scored 41 runs and remained unbeaten till the end and looked solid with his shot selection. Roelof van der Merwe is carrying a huge experience in the international circuit as he previously played for South Africa. He can bat and bowl well and thus he showed against South Africa where he was brilliant with the bat as he scored 29 runs in 19 balls and then took 2 wickets by giving away only 34 runs.

Logan van Beek got 12 wickets in the tournament with an economy of 6.07. His best performance was against Australia where he got 4 wickets. Paul van Meekeren always showed his brilliancy in bowling as he got 11 wickets with an economy of 5.55 and his best performance was against bangladesh where he got 4 wickets was named Player of the match.     

Aryan Dutt  is the team’s opening bowler and has got 10 wickets in the World Cup till now. He has the best economy in the team which is 5.3.
