David Warner is currently the leading scorer for the team with 446 runs to his credit which includes 2 centuries and 1 half century. He is giving a solid start to the team and contributes most of the time when he gets to bat. Travis Head started the tournament with a blasting century against New Zealand. He is a destructive batsman and has the ability to boost the run rate any time. 

Mitchell Marsh scored 249 runs in the tournament which includes one century and one half century. He is contributing well in the starting and his highest score was 121 runs which was against Pakistan. Also with the ball he contributed as he got a couple of wickets against Netherlands. Steve Smith has had a cold tournament till now as he only hit one half century which came against Netherlands where he scored 71 runs. In the rest matches he started well but was unable to convert those into the big one. 

Marnus Labuschagne has been performing well in this World Cup. With 2 half centuries to his credit he looked pretty good. His highest score was 71 runs which was against England. He got a couple of 40’s but couldn’t convert them into a big one. Josh Inglis scored a brilliant 58 runs against Sri Lanka but after that knock he couldn’t put up a great show with the bat. Most of the time he got out early which needs to be rectified.  

Marcus Stoinis the hard hitter of the team, till now wouldn’t show his hard hitting much as he got out early. He can also contribute with the ball but till now didn’t get any match winning performance. Glenn Maxwell the match saviour in the last match who single handedly won the match against Afghanistan by his brilliant double century. He scored 397 runs in the tournament till now with a fantastic strike rate of 152.69 which includes 2 centuries. A;lso he scored the fastest century in the World Cup. In this tournament he is contributing with the ball as he got 5 wickets.   

Mitchell Starc, one of the most successful bowlers from the team in this format of gameplay, hasn’t been able to perform well. Though he got wickets but was mostly expensive in his spells. Earlier he was well known for his run saving but this he gave away many runs. Adam Zampa, the leading wicket-taker from the team has got 20 wickets in the tournament. He is performing well and withdraws the wickets when the team needs it the most.

Pat Cummins the leader of the team has shown his tremendous brilliant mentality as a player and also as leader. He can play aggressive when required which he showed against New Zealand where he scored 37 runs in just 14 balls and can play defensive as he played against Afghanistan where he scored 12 runs in 68 balls. Also with the ball he has 10 wickets to his and is performing well in both the departments. 

Josh Hazlewood has got 12 wickets in the tournament with the best against India where he grabbed 3 important wickets. He is bowling well with a decent economy of 5.22.

Bangladesh (BAN) Analysis:

Bengal Tigers made a headline for their win against Sri Lanka as they appealed for time out for Angelo Mathews which caught the limelight all over the world. Nevertheless they got their 2nd victory in the tournament by 6 consecutive losses. For them to qualify for the Champions Trophy they need to be in the Top 8 so that they can play the tournament in 2025.

Liton Das, the star player from the side has started the World Cup  pretty well but as the tournament progresses his runs with the bat decreases. He has 248 runs till now with 2 half centuries and his best was against England where he scored 76 runs. Tanzid Hasan is unable to put up runs with the bat except against India where he scored his maiden half century and made 51 runs. After that he got out early and most of them were in single digit. 

Najmul Hossain Shanto finally after back to back low scores he finally got to score some great runs in the last match against Sri Lanka where he scored 90 runs. In their first against Afghanistan there he scored 59 runs after that he got out in a single digit but in the last match he got some rhythm. Shakib Al Hasan finally contributed with the bat in the last match against Sri Lanka where he scored 82 runs but with the bowl he has shown some consistency and grabbed 9 wickets till now.  

Mahmudullah is the only batter from the side who has shown consistency. He scored 296 runs with an average of 89.70 which includes one century and 1 half century. Against South Africa he made a brilliant 111 runs. Mushfiqur Rahim, one of the most experienced players in the team has just scored 181 runs and hit 2 half centuries. He started the World Cup brilliantly but in the second phase of the tournament he was unable to score easily and got out.    

Mehidy Hasan Miraz showed some great performance in both the departments. He has some valuable runs with the bat and with the ball he took 10 wickets. One of the highly valuable player for the team. Shoriful Islam got 10 wickets in his pocket and his best performance was against England where he got 3 wickets and at one point he was close to a hattrick. The only thing which he needs to think about is his economy which is more than 6.5. \

Taskin Ahmed the most experienced pacer in the squad has got just 4 wickets in the tournament till now. He was failing to trouble the batters as the batters scored easy runs against him. Tanzim Hasan Shakib played the last match against Sri Lanka where he got 3 wickets but gave away 80 runs in his 10 overs.     

Mustafizur Rahman also known as one of best bowlers in the death overs but his slow bouncers which was his weapon was played easily by the opposition.
