The 24th match of the tournament between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR). The match between them will start at 7:30 P.M. (IST).

Teams Analysis:

Gujarat Titans (GT):

The team who started the season with a close win against MI now has won 2 in their 5 matches and is standing at 7th in the points table. They lost back to back two matches in which their last defeat when LSG left them clueless against Yash Thakur and won the match by 33 runs. One of the main problems is their destructive batter David Miller absence who will not feature in this match also due to the niggle.

Skipper Shubman Gill was brilliant against PBKS where he scored unbeaten 89 runs but in the next match he got only 19 runs in 21 balls. He looked little pressured during the captaincy which reflects in his batting. He scored 183 runs with a strike rate of 147.58.

Sai Sudharsan has scored most runs for his team after scoring 191 runs and is currently in the 2nd position in the orange cap list. Thorough is scoring well for the team but is yet to register a 50+ score with the bat. His highest is 45 runs which he scored in two matches, one against MI and other against SRH. In the absence of David Miller, Kane Williamson played 2 matches and in both the matches he failed to score runs. He got 26 & 1 runs till now.

Rahul Tewatia showed little destructive spark in the last match after scoring 30 runs in 25 balls. Till now he scored 81 runs and is currently in 3rd spot in run making for the team in this season. Rest all the batsmen in the team were unable to score runs and struggled.

Mohit Sharma has been brilliant with the ball again as he took 7 wickets till now in this season. But the economy is considerably on the higher side which is 8.68. Rashid Khan on the other hand didn’t influence much till now as he got 5 wickets in 5 matches with an economy of 8.65. With the bat also he didn’t provide any destructive knock yet.

Rajasthan Royals (RR):

The only team in this season who is unbeaten till now. They won 4 out of 4 and are currently the table topper in this season. In their last victory they easily conquered the match against RCB and won it by 6 wickets. A complete team performance has been seen by them in each match till now.

Jos Butler who was seen struggling with the bat had put a full stop to the mouth of the haters after registering a blistering century in the last match. Before that match he just added 35 runs in 3 matches but got his rhythm back and took 58 balls to reach his 6th IPL century. Yashasvi Jaiswal didn’t find a proper way to show the power of his bat. He only scored 39 runs in 4 matches.

Riyan Parag has shown his consistency with the bat and has scored 185 runs in 4 matches and is 3rd in the list of orange cap. He has a strike rate of 158.12 and has hit two 50+ scores till now. Captain Sanju Samson is also contributing well with the bat and has credited 178 runs with the bat till now with a healthy strike rate of 150.85. He also scored 2 half-centuries and both of them came in Jaipur.

Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer didn’t get much chance to show their destruction with the bat.

Looking at their bowling line-up, each and every bowler is contributing well to the team’s success. Yuzvendra Chahal, once again showing his wrist magic and got 8 wickets till now in 4 matches. He has an economy of 6.36 till now. Nandre Burger has taken the responsibility of pace department after getting 6 wickets for the team. But his economy tends towards the higher side, which ended on 8.86.
