India’s one of the most dependent batsmen, Virat Kohli has informed the BCCI that he will remain unavailable for the remaining 3 matches against England.
Kohli earlier joined the squad before the 1st Test match in Hyderabad and started the practice but eventually he had to return due to his personal reasons. Later BCCI released a letter regarding the privacy of the Indian batter so that he would not get disturbed by the others.
It will be first in his international career since his debut that he won’t be part of any Test match in the home series. He is close to his 100 international centuries, currently in 2nd position (80) after Sachin Tendulkar.
The series between India-England is 1-1 as both the parties won 1 match each in 2 Test matches. England won the 1st Test by 28 runs while India won the 2nd Test by 106 runs. Three more matches are there and the 3rd Test will start from 15th February in Rajkot.
