Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya who suffered from his ankle injury is yet to be recovered. Therefore he will miss the series against Afghanistan and further he might not be available for the starting few matches in the IPL.
Pandya was recently appointed as the captain of the Mumbai Indians (MI) and was expected to make his debut as a leader for the team from the starting, but unfortunately he couldn’t recover on time. Due to which it is expected that he might miss a few matches in the starting of the IPL and if gets fit then only he could join the team.
A BCCI source says, “There is no update of Hardik’s fitness status as of now and no one can say there remains a big question mark of him available before the end of the IPL.”
Pandya got injured during the World Cup match, where he tried to stop the ball during his bowling with his right leg and got injured.
Earlier the Indian all-rounder got traded to MI from GT and later on got the captaincy of the team.
