Gambhir Drops honest opinion on Rohit’s Leadership

Gautam Gambhir who was recently in the limelight wanted that Rohit Sharma should continue as a captain in the shortest format also.

Since after the World Cup captaincy debate is going on who will be India’s captain in the shortest format whether it will be Rohit or Hardik Pandya or Suryakumar Yadav. Huge speculations were going after the final of ODI WC.

Gautam who was currently in a controversy with Sreesanth recently during the eliminator of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) wanted that Rohit should continue as a captain in all the formats as he took India to the World Cup final and was unbeaten till the final. Also he suggests that since Rohit is a great captain in IPL as he won 5 trophies for his team under his leadership, therefore he should continue as a leader for team India.

Gautam Gambhir says,

“Rohit Sharma has done better captaincy in the 50 over world cup. You have dominated. Rohit cannot be a bad captain because of one bad match. But if Rohit Sharma has form and if Rohit is batting well, then he should be the captain. The way you play 10 matches in the World Cup and then play one bad match doesn’t mean that Rohit is a bad captain.

It is also important to have won 5 IPL titles. 5 trophies is a big deal. Apart from Dhoni, only Rohit has.

There should not be a captaincy debate but if Rohit Sharma’s form continues then he should be the captain.”

Gautam has recently become a hot topic over Sreesanth saying that he called him a ‘FIXER’ in which Gambhir didn’t get engaged much later on for his allegations only gave his reply through a small post.
