England named their 15 member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup which will get started in June. Jos Butler will be seen in the skipper’s role while Moeen Ali will serve as his deputy.
One of the most surprising picks was Jofra Archer who has been out of the field since March 2023 due to the elbow injury. His injury marks him absent from Mumbai Indians (MI) in the IPL. His addition will definitely help the team in the pace attack.
Another huge pick was Chris Jordan who also showed his last national services in September 2023. Due to the absence of Chris Woakes, he got the opportunity to show his class in both the departments. He carries a great capacity to hit the ball outside the stadium and in bowling he has the ability to break the long partnerships.
They are the 3rd team after New Zealand and South Africa who announced their T20 World Cup 2024 squad.

This squad will be the same against Pakistan in a 4 match T20 series which will be started from 22 May in their home series. Therefore all the players who are playing in the IPL for different franchises will be returned back to home in time as it was guided by the board.
