First time in the history of cricket Uganda makes their name into the ICC tournaments. They cracked their name into the next 2024 T20 World Cup which will be held in the West Indies and USA.
Uganda makes their name along with Namibia in the final teams list. They guaranteed their place in the top two position after defeating Rwanda in the last leg of the T20 World Cup Africa region qualifier.
They won 5 out of their 6 matches and their only defeat came against Namibia where they lost the match by 6 wickets. One of the most highlighted matches was their win against one of the greatest African nations Zimbabwe where they won the match by 5 wickets.
Zimbabwe who were earlier expected to make their place in the playoffs finished 3rd in the list and were unable to make their existence in the T20 World Cup. They won 3 matches out of 5 and lost 2 matches against Uganda and Namibia.

West Indies, USA, India, Australia, New Zealand, England, Pakistan, South Africa, Ireland, Scotland, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Papua New Guinea, Canada, Uganda, Oman, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Namibia and Netherlands.
