Sitanshu Kotak, new head of India for Ireland series

Sitanshu Kotak will be seen in the coaching department as a head coach of India for the Ireland series. Sairaj Bahutule will be the bowling coach of India for that same series. 

Earlier it seemed that VVS Laxman would be the head coach. But he is busy with the Emerging camp in Bengaluru so he can’t join the Indian team there. 

Rahul Dravid and company was given rest as after the Ireland series India will have to play Asia Cup, against Australia and after that World Cup. Therefore a huge line of series are there, so before that the coaching department could go for rest before the Asia Cup. 

India already announced their 15 member squad for Ireland which will be led by the comeback pacer Jasprit Bumrah. Ruturaj Gaikwad will be his deputy and he will lead India in the Asian Games. Ireland also announced their 15 member squad against India which will be led by Paul Stirling.   

Kotak was previously seen with the Indian team last year during the Ireland series only, where VVS Laxman was the head coach of the team and Kotak assisted him. Kotak is presently the head coach of India A and also the batting coach in the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
