The 66th match of the tournament between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Gujarat Titans (GT). The match between them will start at 7:30 P.M. (IST).

In their last encounter in this season, Mohit Sharma’s brilliant bowling performance restricted Sunrisers to a below par score and Titans in reply chased down the target easily in the last over.

Teams Analysis:

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH):

If anything bowlers need to worry about is against the Hyderabad batters. A pure ruthless form they are carrying which helped the team to show full aggressiveness against the opponents. Their batting is too destructive from the start of the season and has little problem in their bowling, which they also overcome a little bit. For the Playoffs scenario, if they win both of their remaining matches then it will be an easy qualification for them. At present they are in 4th place with 14 points.

The openers of this team are just unstoppable. In the last match against LSG where Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head created a record after chasing down the target of 166 in under 10 overs. Both of them show a pure class of destruction and if they get going then the bowlers will definitely be under pressure.

Travis Head has 533 runs in 11 innings with a strike rate of 201.89 in which one century and four half-centuries were included. He is currently in the 3rd place in the purple cap list. Abhishek Sharma has 401 runs to his name and has a strike rate of 205.64, which is the highest in the team in this season. He has two 50+ knocks to his name.

Nitish Kumar Reddy in the middle order has shown some balanced performance as he has got two half-centuries till now and has scored 239 runs with an average of 47.8. He also contributed in the bowling department as he got 3 wickets till now. Heinrich Klaasen is no less than a beast when it comes to power hitting. With 186.26 strike rate he has managed 339 runs which includes three half-centuries.

Abdul Samad has shown some fierce batting in the death overs and as a result he has a strike rate of 181.93 while Shahbaz Ahmed has contributed well in both the departments as he scored 186 runs with the and took 3 wickets till now.

T Natarajan is currently the team’s leading wicket-taker with 15 wickets to his name. His economy is 9.36 and has an average of 24.53. Skipper Pat Cummins is not behind him as he took 14 wickets till now with an economy of 9.25.

Experienced Bhuvneshwar Kumar is slowly getting back to his rhythm and has taken 11 wickets till now.

Gujarat Titans (GT):

Their Playoffs dreams were already shattered after their last match against KKR was wiped off due to rain. Although there was a little hope to reach the next round. This will be their last match and they definitely wanted to end the journey with a win. They are in 8th place with 11 points in 13 matches.

After some struggling knocks, skipper Shubman Gill looked in proper rhythm as he got a brilliant century against CSK where he scored 104 runs. He has till now 426 runs with a strike rate of 147.40 in which one century and two half-centuries were included. Sai Sudharsan might again come to open along with Gill as the performance of Wriddhiman Saha is not up to the mark in this season.

With 527 runs, Sudharsan is in 4th place in the orange list. He has one century and 2 half-centuries to his name with a strike rate of 141.28. David Miller also looked good as he got some healthy knocks with the bat and has managed in total 210 runs in 9 innings. He is definitely a beast in the death overs and has a strike rate of 151.08. Also in the last against Hyderabad, he played a fantastic knock of unbeaten 44 runs and took his name to the victory. The same performance is expected again.

Shahrukh Khan looked a little solid against RCb where he scored 37 runs and might provide some valuable knocks in the middle overs. Rahul Tewatia has a decent record this season as he scored 188 runs with a strike rate of 145.74.

Bowling has been seen as a little weak this season in most of the matches. None of the bowlers from their team in the top 15 list in the purple cap, which easily depicts their downfall in this department.

Mohit Sharma is their leading wicket taker with 13 wickets to his name. But the economy is on the higher side which is 10.9. His best performance in this season was also against SRH where he took 3 wickets by giving away only 25 runs in his 4 overs. This season of Rashid Khan is not up to the mark as he has taken only 10 wickets with an economy of 8.4.

Noor Ahmed and Umesh Yadav both have 8 wickets to their name till now.

Probably playing 11 for the Match:

Shubman Gill ©, B Sai Sudharsan, Matthew Wade (wk), David Miller, Shahrukh Khan, Rahul Tewatia, Vijay Shankar, Rashid Khan, Mohit Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Noor Ahmed.
