Dawid Malan despite his century against Bangladesh he was unable to perform in the remaining three matches where he scored 14, 32 & 6 runs. He has the quality to make runs full of destruction and the team is expecting this performance soon. Jonny Bairstow on the other hand hit only a single half century which also came against Bangladesh. He is failing to score runs which ultimately put the team in a fix.

Joe Root, one of the best batsman from the side started the World Cup with two half centuries in two matches but in the last two matches he scored just 11 & 2 runs. His presence in the crease matters a lot. Finally in the last match Ben Stokes played where he only scored 5 runs. He is a great finisher and can play well in any position. He will only do batting, not bowling as he wants to maintain his fitness.

Jos Butler the skipper of the team has not crossed 50 runs mark yet in the tournament. His highest score is 43 runs which came in the first match against the Kiwis. Harry Brook also performed average with one half century in his name where he scored 66 runs against Afghanistan. He is an aggressive batsman and can bat aggressively in the death overs.

Liam Livingstone, the hard hitter of the ball has scored 20, 0 & 10 runs. He is struggling to put some runs on the board and also lacks to hit the ball outside the ground. Sam Curran the star all rounder from the side has not shown any dominating performance in any of the departments. With the bat he scored just 14, 11 & 10 runs and with the ball he was expensive in his spells and till now he was not able to complete any 10 overs.

Reece Topley was the highest wicket taker of the team in this tournament till now with 8 wickets, but he was injured in the last match due to which he was ruled out of the World Cup. David Willey played in the last match and was not that impressive with his performance as he scored 12 runs and in his bowling he gave 61 runs in 9 overs.

Adil Rashid the main spinner from the side has taken 6 wickets till now with 5.19 economy. Till now he had a decent series and needs to step up more with his performance. Gus Atkinson played his first match and performed better in both the departments. With the bat he scored 35 runs and with the bowl he took 2 wickets.
