So far in the World Cup the Proteas are going good and creating so many records. Only just one upset for them so far by getting a defeat against the Dutch. Their batters are playing like a T20 game and the bowlers start creating pressure from the very first over.

Quinton de Kock started his journey of the World Cup with 2 centuries in two matches but in his last two matches he scored just 20 & 4 runs. Despite this his average is 58.25 with a heavy strike rate 108.88. He starts showing his dominance from the very first ball and if he gets going then century will not be far away from him.

Temba Bavuma the skipper of the team didn’t play in the last match due to fever but will be seen against the Bengal Tigers. Till now he scored 59 runs in 3 matches. He didn’t have a great tournament till now but has just one knock away to get back his rhythm.

Reeza Hendricks played in place of Bavuma in the last match and scored a brilliant 85 runs. He is a great hitter of the ball, which shows in the last match. 

Rassie van der Dussen had a decent tournament so far scoring 198 runs which includes 1 century and 1 half century. He plays spin well and batted defensively in the initial overs. Aiden Markram was the leader in the last match and he scored 205 runs with a heavy strike rate of 141.38. He starts showing his destruction from the beginning. Also he scored the fastest century in the World Cup. Heinrich Klassen is a highly aggressive batsman. He can easily change the run rate. Against England he scored 109 runs. Till now he made 198 runs. 

David Miller didn’t hit a single half century in the tournament so far. His highest score is 43 runs which came against Netherlands. But everyone knows if he connects the ball then it will clear the ground easily. Marco Jansen showed his power against England where he hit 75 runs in 42 balls and took the team total close to 400. Also he took 8 wickets with an economy close to 7. 

Kagiso Rabada has 8 wickets in his pocket with an economy of 5.74. He is a hard bowler in the middle and in the death he becomes a threat to the batters. Gerald Coetzee is playing his first tournament and shines in this by taking 7 wickets till now. Despite having an economy 7.62, he broke the partnerships and stabilised the team’s momentum. 

Keshav Maharaj is the focus spinner and got 6 wickets till now and he batted well against the Dutch where he scored 40 runs. He can contribute well in both the departments. Lungi Ngidi pace in the starting overs created problems for the batters. He has got 6 wickets with an economy of 5. Tabraiz Shami played only one match where he got 2 wickets which was against the Aussies.

Bangladesh (BAN) Analysis: 

The Bengal Tigers after starting their journey with a win lost their rhythm and lost three consecutive matches. They were having average batting and bowling which ultimately cost them the match. They lost their rhythm but still they had a chance to make their presence into the semis but for that they had to win every single game which remained.

Tanzid Hasan scored his first half century in the international circuit which came in his last match against India. Although he failed to score in the last three matches he proved himself in the last match and the team is hoping that this form will continue in the remainder of the matches. Liton Das, the other opener of the team has scored 2 half centuries and is a promising batter from the side. He is a good striker of the ball and can create problems for the opposition easily.     

Najmul Hossain Shanto was leading the side in the last match due to injury of Shakib Al Hasan. Except in the first match he was out in a single digit with the scores 0,7 & 8. In the first match only he scored 59 runs not out. Mehidy Hasan Miraz contributed well in both the departments. In his batting he scored a half century and took 5 wickets till now in the World Cup so far. 

Towhid Hridoy started well but was unable to convert his innings to a big one. His highest score in the tournament is 39 runs which came against England. Shakib Al Hasan performs averages with 55 runs with the bat and took 5 wickets till now. He is one of the greatest all rounders in the world. A match winner for the team and needs to be more consistent with his performance. 

Mushfiqur Rahim is one of the most experienced players in the team and scored 157 runs till now which is the most runs scored by the Bangladesh player in this tournament. He is batting with an average of 52.33. He has 2 half centuries in his pocket. Mahmudullah in the last two matches scored 41 & 46 runs. He played 3 matches and contributed well in the death overs.     

Nasum Ahmed played in the last match where he scored 14 runs and was unable to take any wickets in his 9.3 overs. Mustafizur Rahman is not so consistent with the ball and took only 2 wickets in 4 matches, he was highly expensive in his spells. Especially in the death overs he was unable to deliver wickets and batsmen found him easy to play. Shoriful Islam  got 5 wickets in the 4 matches but in the last 2 matches he remained wickeless and was highly expensive in his spells.    

Hasan Mahumd played in the last match against India but remained ineffective with his deliveries despite taking a single wicket. Taskin Ahmed  is one of the most experienced players in the bowling department from his team but he took only 2 wickets in 3 matches and was mostly expensive with his spells.

Mahedi Hasan played just one match against England and in that match he took 4 wickets, Despite having a brilliant performance he was dropped.
