The Proteas showed domination in both of their matches. They won their 1st match against Sri Lanka by 102 runs and in that match they created many records in the World Cup. While in their 2nd match they defeated Australia by 134 runs.

Quinton de Kock batted superbly as he scored two centuries in two matches and made 209 runs till now. He scored 100 runs against Sri Lanka and against Australia he scored 109 runs. Temba Bavuma the leader of the team leading it pretty well and maintaining a balance in the team. He is yet to show his brilliancy in the batting. Against Australia he scored 35 runs but wasn’t able to convert it into a big one.

Rassie van der Dussen also scored a century against Lankans and against Aussies he was looking good but failed to utilize it. Aiden Markram who scored the fastest century in the World Cup which came against Sri Lanka and also against the Kangaroos he scored a half century and showed his destruction there. Heinrich Klassen is a great hitter of the ball and showed the power of destruction in his batting in both the matches but still he has a lot of capability to score big which is yet to come.

David Miller is well known for his powerful strikes in the death overs which he already showed against Sri Lanka where he scored 39 runs in just 21 balls. A powerful striker who can easily increase the run rate. Marco Jansen despite being expensive in both of the matches he managed to disturb the batters in his opening spell. He took 4 wickets and also showed powerful hitting in the death overs with his bat.

Kagiso Rabada, the most experienced bowler in the lineup has shown some great spells. He got 5 wickets till now in the tournament. Against Australia his bowling proved to be lethal as they weren’t able to pick properly. Lungi Ngidi provided great support to Rabada. His opening spell is going to be crucial again as his swing is just unplayable. He showed his dangerous swing against Australia and both the openers Warner and Marsh were unable to pick it.

Keshav Maharaj is proving his worth in the team. He can contribute with the bat also in the lower end. He took 2 wickets each in both the matches. Tabraiz Shamsi  is the other wrist spinner who played against the Aussies where he bowled superbly and got 2 wickets.

Gerald Coetzee is the young lad from the team and against Sri Lanka he played the match where he got 3 important wickets and justified his position in the team.

Netherlands (NED) Analysis:

The team which came through the qualifiers lost two matches in two games. First they lost against Pakistan by 81 runs and then against New Zealand by 99 runs.

Vikramjit Singh who started his World Cup journey by hitting a half century against Pakistan was not looking in touch against the Kiwis out cheaply. Max O’Dowd, the other opener of the team has impressive stats as a batsman but in both the matches he scored just 5 & 16 runs. He must be searching some more runs in this tournament with the bat.

Colin Ackermann scored 69 runs against Kiwis and showed his potential in batting. In the qualifiers he performed brilliantly and took some wickets also. Bas de Leede the star performer against Pakistan where he batted and bowled well. Against New Zealand he also started well in his batting but failed to convert it into a big one.

Teja Nidamanuru is a great player in the middle order but till now in both the matches he contributed only 5 & 21 runs. Scott Edwards, the leader of the team and also the keeper from the side, carries a great experience in cricket. He played some good shots against New Zealand and looked aggressive but he also failed to convert his innings into a big one.

Sybrand Engelbrecht made his debut against New Zealand and looked solid in his 29 run innings. He replaced Saqib Zulfiqar who was the all rounder of the team. Saqib also played an average knock of 10 runs only against Pakistan.

Roelof van der Merwe carries a huge experience in the international circuit. Earlier he played for South Africa now he played for the Dutch. But till now he wasn’t able to perform well in both the departments. In batting he scored only 1 & 4 runs while in bowling he got only 2 wickets. Team is expecting much from him. Ryan Klein and Logan van Beek failed to deliver with their respective spells and remained wicketless.

Aryan Dutt is their opening bowler. Against Pakistan he got 1 wicket while giving away 48 runs and against New Zealand he took 2 wickets by giving away 62 runs. But against the Kiwis he started his spell brilliantly and got 2 maiden overs early on. Paul van Meekeren took 3 wickets till now and provided some helpful overs in the middle overs.
