A full destruction showed by the Men in blue openers as they posted 77 runs for the first wicket in just the 6th over. Yashasvi Jasiwal (53 runs) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (58 runs) showed no mercy to the bowlers. Jaiswal hit 9 fours and 2 sixes in his knock while Gaikwad hit 3 fours and 2 sixes in his inning. Then Ishan Kishan (52 runs) hit back to back half centuries and showed his consistency. He hit 3 fours and 4 sixes in his inning.
In the end, Rinku Singh (31 runs not out) finishes off the thing in style. He played just 9 balls and hit 4 fours and 2 sixes with a strike rate of 344.44. Due to aggressive approach towards the end, the team managed 235 runs in 20 overs by losing 4 wickets.
Nathan Ellis got 3 wickets while Marcus Stoinis got 1 wicket.
During the chase, Aussies too started in a destructive way and posted 35 runs in the 3rd overs. But they start losing wickets in regular intervals and at one point they lose 4 wickets in just 58 runs. Marcus Stoinis (45 runs) was the highest scorer from the side.
