Ex-Indian finisher and Afghanistan mentor in the World Cup, Ajay Jadeja says that if required he will be ready to do the coaching role of Pakistan.
Under Jadeja’s mentorship Afghanistan performed brilliantly and registered four victories in the World Cup. Due to this performance they finished 6th in the league stage and managed their name into the 2025 Champions Trophy. They won against Sri Lanka, Pakistan, England and Netherlands.
During a recent interaction with Sports Tak, after being asked about that whether he would took up the role of coaching in Pakistan Cricket Team he replied,
“I am ready. I shared my feeling with Afghans and I believe Pakistan was once like Afghanistan. You could say anything you wanted to in the face of your teammate.”
Under his immense guidance, Afghans registered their first victory in the World Cup and not only were they close to getting to the Semi-Finals spot but unfortunately they couldn’t end the journey in top 4 spot.
