The 35th match of the tournament between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The match between them will start at 7:30 P.M. (IST).
Teams Analysis:
Delhi Capitals (DC):
Finally the team is looking confident after winning two back to back matches. In both the matches a dominating performance has been seen. Especially in the last match where they thrashed GT in both the departments. They are standing at 6th in the points table with 3 wins in 7 matches.
Prithivi Shaw is looking great with his shot selection and also good in great touch. He has got 158 runs with the bat including one half-century. His strike rate also improved which is close to 155. After some strings of low score David Warner has to sit in the dugout. After scoring his half-century against CSK he just managed 18, 10 & 8.
Skipper Rishabh Pant has been in sensational form in his batting as well in his keeping. Due to his brilliant keeping skills he was awarded the Player of the Match. He is the only player in the team who got past 200 runs mark in this season. Till now he scored 210 runs with a strike rate of 156.72 which includes 2 half-centuries. Tristan Stubbs has also been sensational with the bat as he is striking with a 190.91 strike rate. He scored 189 runs till now and also hit 2 half-centuries till now. His best came against MI where he scored 71 runs in just 25 balls.
After a sensational start in the IPL Jake Fraser-McGurk has been promoted to the opening slot. He currently has 75 runs in 2 matches and is looking aggressive with the bat as he has a strike rate of 166.67.
Kuldeep Yadav’s return made a huge impact in the team. He has been economical with his spells as his economy is just 6 (6.06) and grabbed 6 wickets till now. Khaleel Ahmed has been fantastic with the ball as he is currently the highest wicket-taker for the team and 6th in the list of purple caps. He has taken 10 wickets till now.
Mukesh Kumar also supported him well from the other end after grabbing 8 wickets till now with an average of 15.62.
Probable playing 11 for the match:
Rishabh Pant (c/wk), Prithvi Shaw, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Abhishek Porel, Shai Hope, Axar Patel, Tristan Stubbs, Kuldeep Yadav, Mukesh Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed, Ishant Sharma.
(Impact Player: Sumit Kumar)
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH):
This team has a pure line up of destruction in their batting. They are just too ruthless when they come to bat. They already broke the highest IPL total in this season twice. In the last match they broke their own record which they created against MI and now against RCB in the last match a pure destruction was shown by the batters. They are in 4th place with 4 wins in 6 matches. They got their hattrick win in their last match.
Travis Head in the last match registered his first IPL century. He has till now scored 235 runs with a blasting strike rate of 199.15. He is giving his team a solid start. On the other hand his partner, Abhishek Sharma is not less than a beast than him. He too had a furious strike rate of 197.20 and got 211 runs with the bat. These two gave the team a perfect power play start in most of the matches.
After them more furious batter Heinrich Klaasen who has already scored 3 half-centuries in 6 matches and is batting with a strike rate of 199.21. He is the team’s leading run-scorer this season till now with 253 runs under his belt. His best was against MI where he scored unbeaten 80 runs.
Aiden Markram and Abdul Samad have also been performing decently till now. Markram scored 159 runs while Samad got the finishing role and scored 106 runs with a destructive strike rate of 225.53.
Their bowling seems to be a little problematic as after obtaining two highest scorers they were unable to register a huge win. As a result their net run rate is only +0.502. Only skipper Pat Cummins showed decent performance in the bowling unit as he got 9 wickets till now with an economy of 7.88. He has the best economy in the team.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar also deals with huge runs as his economy is 10.46 which is hard from him and got only 3 wickets. The other pacers Jaydev Unadkat and T Natarajan have also been expensive with their spells while spinners Mayank Markande and Shahbaz Ahmed haven’t seen in the best of their form.
Probably playing 11 for the Match:
Pat Cummins ©, Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Aiden Markram, Nitish Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Abdul Samad, Shahbaz Ahmed, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, Jaydev Unadkat.

Pitch Report:
For the first time in this IPL, the match will be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. It is a balanced pitch but adds little more favour to the batters as compared to bowlers. At the start batters might have little problem with the swing but as the match progresses runs can be easily scored. Therefore chasing might be easier for the teams.
Weather Report:
Hot and sunny weather is there. The temperature will rise up to 37 degree celsius while it goes down to 24 degree celsius at night. Humidity will be close to 20%.
Best 11 for the Match:
Heinrich Klaasen, Rishabh Pant, Travis Head, Prithvi Shaw, Abhishek Sharma, Tristan Stubbs, Axar Patel, Aiden Markram, Pat Cummins, Kuldeep Yadav, Khaleel Ahmed.
