Yash Thakur’s fifer took Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) to a super victory against Gujarat Titans (GT) by 33 runs.
Lucknow scored 163/5 in 20 overs and Gujarat in reply scored only 130/10 in 18.5 overs.
Super Giants completed their hattrick win and their last victory was when they easily swapped away RCB by 28 runs while it was Titans back to back loss and their last defeat was when PBKS clinched the victory from their mouth and won the match by 3 wickets.

Marcus Stoinis led the way for the team as he scored his first half-century in this IPL and got 58 with the bat. He took 43 balls and hit 4 fours and 2 sixes. KL Rahul played little defensive knock as he got 33 runs in 31 balls.
But again Nicholas Pooran got some healthy runs with the bat and scored unbeaten 32 runs in 22 balls in which 3 sixes were there.
Umesh Yadav and Darshan Nalkande got 2 wickets each while Rashid Khan settled with 1 wicket.
During the chase, Gujarat was unable to build a solid partnership and they lost wickets at regular intervals. Sai Sudharsan maintained his consistency with the bat and scored 31 runs in 23 balls.
Towards the end Rahul Tewatia tried to get that targeted score but he didn’t get any help from the other end. He scored 30 runs in 25 balls.
Yash Thakur was brilliant with his spell as he grabbed 5 wickets by giving away 30 runs in his 3.5 overs. Krunal Pandya was sensational with his bowling as he got 3 wickets after conceding only 11 runs in his 4 overs. Naveen-il-Haq and Ravi Bishnoi got 1 wicket each.
