Recently, Virat Kohli posted his yo-yo fitness score in his instagram story for which the head of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) didn’t like it.
Kohli who undergoes fitness test along with some other players like Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohd Shami and Mohd Siraj who didn’t go for the Ireland series. They go for a fitness camp in Bengaluru.
As soon as Virat posted his score in the instagram story, the management of the BCCI strictly warned him and others verbally to not post such confidential things into the social media.
According to Indian Express a BCCI official said, “Players have been informed verbally to avoid posting any confidential matter on social media platforms. They can post pictures while training but posting a score leads to breach of contract clause.”
The Indian team started their 13 day fitness camp from 8th August to 22nd August before they went to Sri Lanka for the Asia Cup. India will play their 1st Match of Asia Cup on 2nd September against Pakistan.
