Pakistan scored 159/7 in 20 overs and in reply USA scored 159/3 in 20 overs.
Pakistan top order failed to get some good scores with the bat due to which at one point they lost 3 wickets in just 26 runs. Then a solid partnership was generated between skipper Babar Azam and Shadab Khan who got 72 runs for the 4th wicket.
Babar played little slow as he got 44 runs in 43 balls in which 3 fours and 2 sixes were included. At the start his strike rate was close to 20. Shadab showed his aggressive way and scored 40 runs in 25 balls and hit one four and three sixes.
Then Shaheen Afridi got unbeaten 23 runs in 16 balls in which he hit 1 four and 2 sixes and took the team score close to 160.
Nosthush Kenjige bowled brilliantly and grabbed 3 wickets in his 4 overs and conceded only 30 runs. Saurabh Netravalkar got 2 wickets while Ali Khan and Jasdeep Singh got 1 wicket each.
In the chase, skipper Monank Patel showed his power after scoring a brilliant half-century. He scored 50 runs in 38 balls and hit 7 fours and a six. He was well supported by Andries Gous on the other hand as he scored 35 runs in 26 balls. Both of them made a partnership of 68 runs for the 2nd wicket.
Then in the end, Aaron Jones again played a brilliant knock and scored unbeaten 36 runs in 26 balls in which 2 fours and 2 sixes were included. But it was Nitish Kumar (14 runs not out) whose boundary took the team to a tie.
