UK PM Rishi Sunak criticizes the Australian approach during the 2nd Ashes Test.

During the 2nd Test final day Jonny Bairstow dismissal gains a lot of people engagement and now UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak shows his disagreement over the Australian Team win.

On the final day of the 2nd Test, Ben Stokes hard hitting skills changed the match atmosphere and at one time England was moving to a simple victory. But when he goes out then the Australian Team gains the momentum and gets the result in their favour. As a result Australia won the match by 43 runs

Jonny Bairstow who batting at 10, leaves the bowl and it gets to Alex Carey (Australia wicket-kepeer) where he throws the bowl to wickets and bails gets off and immediately the whole Australian Team shouted for the stumping and the umpire gave him out. After which the decision was sent to the third umpire where they found the on-field decision was correct.

Jonny Bairstow along with Stokes who was there in the non striker end was looking disapproval by the decision. England head coach, Brendon McCullum, said that Bairstow thought that the umpire called it over and then took his steps out of the crease. But it was clear that the umpire didn’t call it.

Ben Stokes, England captain, also shares his disapproval by the statement, “If the shoe was on the other foot, I would have put more pressure on the umpires and asked whether they had called over and had a deep think about the whole spirit of the game and if I would want to do something like that.”

UK PM Rishi Sunak’s official spokesperson said in this matter,

“The PM agrees with Ben Stokes – he said he simply wouldn’t want to win a game in the manner Australia did. But the game did provide an opportunity to see Ben Stokes at its best and it was an incredible Test match. He has confidence that England will bounce back at Headingley.”

World is divided into two halves: one sees that Jonny Bairstow was given out in an unfair manner and the other halves sees that Australian Team did according to the rule only and didn’t breach any rule.
