Rohit Sharma couldn’t give a good start to the team in the last match but still the team posted a good score. Ishan Kishan is highly consistent with his performance and made 454 runs and 3 fifties in his account in this season.

Gujarat lost their first ever match against CSK and sadly it came in the Qualifier 1 but still they have one more chance in Qualifier 2 to get them placed in the final. Shubman Gill is just only 8 runs behind to get the purple cap. He made 722 runs in 15 matches with an average of 55.54. Wriddhiman Saha is inconsistent with the last few matches and he needs to step up his performance in the match against MI.

Titans finishers failed to contribute in the death overs and the pitch also started behaving pretty slow. David Miller bowled after scoring only 4 runs. Rahul Tewatia also couldnt provide much and got out cheaply. Rashid Khan hit some couple of sixes and tried to shift the atmosphere in their favor but it was little late and as a result they got out. It’s the first time that GT got all out in 20 overs after 31 matches.

Bowling unit of MI which worries them most, performs brilliantly against LSG. Akash Madhwal the star performer clinched 5 wickets and gave only 5 runs. His 5 wicket haul made way for the team to get into Qualifier 2. Piyush Chawla the highly consistent wicket taker from the side grabbed 21 wickets till now. Jason Behrendorff provides some valuable wickets in the death overs but his economy is above 9.

Mohd Shami leads in the wicket tally by 1 wicket and has 26 wickets in his account this season till now. He took wickets in most of the matches he played. Rashid Khan comes next in the list having 25 wickets in his name. He is a valuable bowler and provides wickets with great economical spells.
