Royal Challengers openers are no doubt one of the best and destructive this season. Faf du Plessis, who is leading the table of purple cap, is looking superb this season and providing healthy runs in most of the matches. He scored 702 runs with a solid average of 58.50. Virat Kohli scored a century after 3 years and his knock of 100 runs against SRH took only 63 balls. He supported Faf in the opening and made 538 runs till now.

Shubman Gill hits his maiden century in IPL and it comes against SRH. He made 101 runs in 58 balls. He always provided solid contribution in the beginning and made 576 runs which includes 1 century and 4 half-centuries. Wriddhiman Saha first half doesnt go well but later on he contributed some useful runs for the team and also with a decent strike rate.

Glenn Maxwell’s performance this season goes up and down but still when he starts knocking then every opposition team knows that it will be hard to stop him. He made 389 runs till now in this season with a strike rate of 182.63. And once again he needs to show his destruction so that RCB can put up a good score against GT, if they batted first.

After some few low scores, Hardik Pandya was looking in some decent form and providing some useful runs to the teams in the middle overs. Sai Sudharsan started the season pretty well but got injured and had to sit in the dugout, now he is fit and plays against SRH and provided 47 runs to the team. Vijay Shankar also shows some fierceful batting in the middle overs.

If anything RCB needs to worry about is their finishers. None of the finishers depicted their destruction in the death overs and lastly RCB had to face some low scores in the last 5 overs. Dinesh Karthik is now an impact player for the team but still he couldn’t show his hard hitting skills till now. Anuj Rawat and Mahipal Lomror also need to step up in the death overs and score as many runs as they can.

David Miller who has the power to uplift the score anytime has the crucial role of finishing well in the death overs. He can show his destruction in the last overs easily. Abhinav Manohar also supported him pretty well in the death overs. Rashid Khan can also show some powerful hitting as he already shows against MI.

Mohd Siraj is the leading wicket taker from RCB. He took 17 wickets till now in the season. Once again he has to take wickets from the beginning to make the team play for playoffs. Josh Hazelwood couldn’t play the last match due to injury and might again remain absent. Wanindu Hasaranga will play the match after coming back from an injury. Harshal Patel is 2nd leading wicket taker from the team having grabbed 13 wickets in his pockets.

If any opposition team needs to worry about any team’s bowling lineup that team must be GT. They have 3 bowlers in the top 10 list of purple cap. Mohd Shami is currently wearing the cap with 23 wickets in his pocket. Rashid Khan also clinches the same number of wickets (23) and is 2nd in the same list. Mohit Sharma after taking 4 wickets against SRH, his total wickets in this season till now is 17 and is 7th in the list. Noor Ahmed also took some crucial wickets in between the covers.
