Mumbai Indians (MI) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will meet at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. MI is standing at 6th and SRH is at bottom of the IPL standings.
Mumbai definitely want to win the match with a huge margin so that they can qualify for the playoffs and also they need RCB to lose the match or they win with a less margin. MI has 14 points in 13 matches with a NRR of -0.128. Hyderabad on the other hand want to end this season with a win and can finish in double digit points. SRH has 8 points in 13 matches with a NRR of -0.558.
Rohit Sharma looked in some great touch against LSG but still he couldn’t convert into a big one. He scored 37 runs in 25 balls. Ishan Kishan again showed destruction in his batting. He scored 59 runs in 39 balls. In the 2nd half of the season he was looking in some great touch and started scoring well, contributing 425 runs till now.

A disappointing season goes for Sunrisers. They tried several openings and team combinations but none of them succeeded. A Major team combined effort was seen missing. Only a single performance from the team came out mostly. Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi opened in the last match and as always in this season they couldnt contribute much.
Suryakumar Yadav in the last few matches switched on his beast mode and scored with a pretty heavy strike rate. He made 486 runs with a strike rate of 186.92, which is the highest strike rate in the top 10 run getters in this season. Nehal Wadhera only played in 8 innings and impressed everyone through his fierceful batting.
Heinrich Klassen was promoted up the order and once again he showed his impressive batting and scored his maiden century in IPL against RCB. His knock of 104 runs only takes 51 balls. Not only this, with this innings he enters into the list of top 10 highest run getters in this season. He scored 430 runs in 10 innings with a strike rate of 179.17. Aiden Markram’s string of low scores continues and in this season he only made 235 runs in 12 matches.

When a team has finishers like Tim David and Cameron Green then every bowler in the opposition needs to be worried. Tim David against LSG scored 32 runs in 19 balls. Cameron Green when played in number 3 position provided some healthy runs but in lower down the order he still needs to be more destructive.
Harry Brook and Glenn Phillips came as a finisher against RCB. Brook, who scored a century against KKR, wasn’t able to score much in the remaining matches. He was seen struggling against spinners. Glenn Phillips joined the team much later and played only 4 matches. Except against RR his power hitting in the deaths was seen missing.
Highly consistent player in terms of bowling department for MI is Piyush Chawla. He took wickets in almost every match he played. Till now he took 20 wickets in the season. Jason Behrendorff gives good support to him in the wicket taking department. He took 14 wickets till now in the tournament.
SRH bowling unit looks a little scattered. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the leading wicket taker from the side and grabbed 15 wickets till now in the season. Mayank Markande’s first half of the season went pretty decent but in the 2nd half he was unable to clinch the wickets. Marco Jansen and T Natarajan took 10 wickets in the tournament till now but both of them weren’t able to perform any match winning spells.
