Match 48: GT vs RR| Full Analysis| Playing 11| Best 11.

Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) will meet at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. Gujarat is topping the list while Rajasthan is placed at 4th in the points table.

Last year’s finalists will once again fight against each other. Previous year RR was unable to overcome GT in 3 matches but this year they finally got one

Openers of Titans are working only 50%. Shubman Gill is continuously providing runs while Saha is unable to get his bat sounded. Gill till now made 339 runs in the season. On the other hand Yashasvi Jaiswal is showing his class just on another level. In his last match against MI he scored his maiden century. He is 2nd in the list of orange cap and has made 428 runs till now. Butler started the season with some handy knocks but later on he is struggling to convert his innings into a big one.

Sanju Samson also couldnt contribute much to the team. He is missing his shots due to which he gets out early. Devdutt Padikkal also failed to provide much. Hardik Pandya scored a half century against DC but it came as a losing cause since it was too slow batting by the skipper. Vijay Shankar’s powerful hitting which is out of the box since in his last year he couldn’t score too many runs and gets out early. But this time he was well prepared and started lifting the shots from the beginning.

David Miller’s major problem is his consistency in the death overs. He is not as consistent as his team is expecting. Abhinav Manohar shows some brutal hitting towards the end due to which Gujarat gets benefited for posting high scores. RR main hitter Shimron Hetmyer is missing his lofted shots. Dhruv Jurel the youngster shows some powerpack innings due to which he is considered instead to Riyan Parag

GT’s bowling lineup is overall much more balanced. Mohd Shami is clinching wickets in every match and he is also not conceding too many runs in his spells. He is also leading the purple cap department, taking 17 wickets in his pockets. Rashid Khan is also not much behind him and has already taken 15 wickets. Noor Ahmad and Mohit Sharma also give helping hands to the team. Both of them provided breakthroughs along with some crucial wickets. Joshua Little might play his game since he has to return to his national team for their series against Bangladesh in England

RR bowling department might be looking a little bit weak as compared to their season start. Chahal is continuously giving away runs without getting any wickets. Boult is also not getting his rhythm. R Ashwin somehow manages to take some wickets. He grabbed 13 wickets in the season till now. Chahal’s record against GT is somehow good, therefore it is expected that he might be introduced early on.
