Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will meet at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Knight Riders is at 8th whereas SRH is at 9th on the points table.
Both the teams are struggling with their constant performance. Both the teams experimented most in the opening pair.
KKR somehow found their best opening pair of Jason Roy and Rahmanullah Gurbaz. These two are in great form especially Roy who is mostly constant with his performance. He missed out the last match due to injury but Gurbaz made an exceptional innings of 81 runs against GT.
On the other hand SRH too tried many combinations for their opening but none of them performed as combined. Abhishek Sharma showed some sparks in the opening. Team is tested Mayank Agarwal along with him. He is not so consistent with his batting and he needs to be more step up with his batting.

Looking at the middle order of Knight Riders, Venkatesh Iyer started the season well but later on as the game progressed his runs were slowing down. He is also in the race of purple cap. Rinku Singh and Nitish Rana’s consistency is the major hurdle for their performance. Rinku Singh still contributes with a heavy strike rate and is also one of the contenders of the emerging player list.
Sunrisers middle order is also just KKR, their players are not consistent with their performance. Harry Brook who only showed his batting presence against KKR where he scored a century and after that his bat remained silent. Now this time he can again regain his form as he already showed his worth against KKR. Aiden Markram and Rahul Tripathi both started well but later on their string of low scores continued.
Both them are struggling with their finishers. Andre Russell misses his power hitting at the end. In the last match against GT he shows some fireworks but it is not so constant. Heinrich Klassen also scores a fifty against DC, but he is also not consistent with his batting.
Kolkata’s main struggle is their pace attack whose continuous flop show gives the opposition team an opportunity to score more runs. Umesh, Ferguson, Shardul and Russell they all are mostly expensive with their spells. Their strong point is their spin who contributes more than 60% of the wicket taking. Varun Chakaravarthy, Sunil Narine and Suyash Sharma these three are the pillars for the bowling lineup of the team.

Hyderabad bowling attack is also looking weak in this season. Mayank Markande is the leading wicket taker for the team. He takes 10 wickets. Bhuvneshwar getting his rhythm back but still his contribution is not providing much to the team. Team main speedster Umran Malik whose disappointing season is going on. Till now he only takes 5 wickets. Natarajan is struggling with his yorkers for which he is known.
