RR reached the final in last season but just remain little away from winning their 2nd title. On the other hand SRH stood 8th in the last season and this time with a new captain will definitely try certain new things
.MI the most times title holder will definitely want to forget the last season where they were standing last in the points table. RCB stood 4th in the pool table in last season where they eliminated LSG in the eliminator but got defeated by RR and once again couldn’t hold the trophy.
Match 3: LSG vs DC. wood 5 wickets haul
SUNRISERS HYDERABAD (SRH):
SRH will start their campaign under the leadership of Bhuvneshwar Kumar since Aiden Markram will not be available for the opening match of SRH. With Kane Williamson exit from the team Markram was handed over the captaincy who will join the team after completing his national duty.
SRH releases most of his players from the squad and makes a new and fresh squad to start the season. Harry Brook the english batter gets a splendid amount of 13.25 cr and his hard hitting capacity of taking the ball away from the ground will help SRH to make a strong scoreboard. Addition of Mayank Agarwal and Heinrich Klassen alongwith Rahul Tripathi, and Glenn Phillips gives a great depth to their batting lineup.
Abhishek Sharma, Marco Jansen, Washington Sundar and Abdul Samad, hard hitting all rounders will again show their class of both batting and bowling to take the innings total to a great extent and also took the wickets in regular intervals of time. Last year SRH weakness was their spin bowlers so they added Adil Rashid and Akeal Hossein to their squad so that they can contribute to the team and also help Bhuvi, Umran Malik and T Natarajan in the bowling attack.
RAJASTHAN ROYALS (RR):
Captain Sanju Samson took his team to the final last year but they were just a hand away to clinch the title and lost to GT and their dream of winning the 2nd title faded. Samson’s consistent performance in the team always makes the team more powerful.
Rajasthan must be very much pleased by their batting performance. Jos Butler clinched the title of orange cap and became the 2nd player after Virat Kohli of highest run making in a single IPL season. His 4 centuries and 4 half centuries makes him the most consistent player in last year’s season. Samson, Devdutt Padikkal, Shimron Hetmyer and Yashasvi Jaiswal each of them contributed well in the last season.
Jason Holder, a well known all rounder will now his service to this franchise. Holder alongwith R Ashwin and Riyan Parag makes a great combination of all rounders for the team.
Yuzvendra Chahal won the purple cap last year grasping 27 wickets and once again he will be present to show his magical finger spin. Since Prasidh Krishna is unavailable due to injury Trent Boult along with Obed McCoy will take charge of the fast bowling attack.

Match 5: One Of The Most Awaited Match:(ROHIT vs VIRAT)
MUMBAI INDIANS (MI):
Rohit Sharma is the only player in IPL history who won the most number of IPL titles. 5 with MI and 1 with Deccan chargers. He is considered one of the greatest captains of IPL. Despite having the most number of IPL titles last year MI’s performance was very low and finishing last in the pool table. Now this time with some fresh faces in their squad Rohit’s gang will again try to clinch another title.
Last season Ishan Kishan was the leading scorer and crossed 400+ runs. Suryakumar Yadav is one of the most consistent players in the squad he along with Rohit have to take the charge for taking the score card high. Tilak Verma shows his ability to bat in any place. Finishers like Tim David, Tristan Stubbs and Dewald Brevis can finish the innings like a rocket and also can make opponent bowlers clueless.
Cameron Green acquired the place in the MI squad getting 17.50 crore, the 2nd most expensive player in IPL history. His ability to clear the ground is so easy for him and can also pick some useful wickets through his bowling. Jofra Archer is back in the IPL after missing the previous season. But unfortunately we cant see the deadly duo of Jasprit Bumrah and Archer in this season since Bumrah is out of the season due to injury. Jhye Richardson is also out due to injury. Piyush Chawla‘s addition in the team can make the spin department more strong and he is also one of the highest wicket takers in IPL.
ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE (RCB):
Faf du Plessis takes the charge of leadership from Virat Kohli last year and justifies his role by taking RCB into the eliminator where the team defeated LSG but after that RR eliminates him in 2nd qualifier. Much awaited trophy by RCB and his fans are hoping this year they will conquer the trophy like a boss.
Virat Kohli is back in form and it gives a huge relief for the team and fans because he becomes more and more dangerous when he is in form and takes the charge of maintaining a good and high run rate. Rajat Patidar is out due to injury but he will join the team afterwards. Dinesh kartik match winning innings and finishing the things in style is again a way to watch for many fans.
Glenn Maxwell, one of the most destructive batsmen in the world is again set to fire up his innings like a blast. His part time bowling also helps the team for some quick wickets. Wanindu Hasaranga was the 2nd highest wicket taker in last year’s IPL but this year he will join the team a little late due to his national duty. His quick fire innings also boosted up the team total. Since Hazelwood will not be available in the starting few matches of RCB Harshal Patel and Mohd. Siraj will have to take charge of the fast bowling department. Reece Topley‘s addition to the team helps to make a strong fast bowling lineup.
