St Lucia Kings (SLK) and Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) match was called off due to rain.
Match 3rd was also called off due to rain and both the matches were played at the same stadium, Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia.
Due to continuous raining, the match started late and the overs were cut into 10 overs. Faf du Plessis won the toss and he invited GAW to bat first. Guyana got their new Captain, Imran Tahir, who played for the same franchise for 7 years.
As the match started and just 5 balls were delivered then suddenly rain came and the match stopped. After the rain stopped, overs were reduced from 10 to 5.
Warriors in their 5 overs posted 56 runs with the loss of 2 wickets. Saim Ayub made 24 runs in 16 balls and remained not out. Chandrapaul Hemraj was the first man dismissed and Chris Sole got his wicket. Hemraj made 4 runs. Azam Khan was the next man who got out and he was dismissed in the last delivery of the innings. Jair McAllister was the man who gets the credit for his dismissal. Khan made 21 runs in 11 balls.
Just as the last ball was done rain again came and disrupted the match. And finally match was called off and both teams got 1 point each.
