Lucknow lost their last match against GT in a low scoring match. It was a definite win for the team. They started well but couldn’t carry the temperament in the death overs due to which they lost the winning match.
KL Rahul was looking in form but his strike rate always became a problem. He made 68 runs against GT but took 61 balls. Kyle Mayers needs to be more consistent with his bat. Nicholas Pooran was looking in some touch in the death overs. Marcus Stoinis also shows some destruction towards the end. Deepak Hooda’s continuous flow of low runs remains a headache for the team. Krunal also didn’t provide anything much with his bat. Quinton de Kock’s performance in Mohali is commendable so he might get a chance in the match.
Bowlers did a great job against GT but the batters upset the remaining. Amit Mishra is looking absolutely fantastic in his bowling. He takes the wickets in almost every match. Ravi Bishnoi also shares the same. Krunal and Stoinis were looking great in the last match grabbing 2-2 wickets each.

The Punjab team must be pretty much happy after their win against MI. Finally Sam Curran’s great knock came and that too in a crucial moment. He was awarded player of the match in his last outing.
PBKS struggled with the opening pair in the absence of Dhawan. He might join the team against LSG. in the last match Matt Short came for the opening but the experiment failed. Atharva Taide was also tried in the opening but he was also not contributing much. Prabhsimran consistency with the bat is missing. Some days he made great runs but some days he went out cheaply. Livingstone joined the team but he still did not contribute much according to his ability. Harpreet Singh Bhatia and Jitesh Sharma showing some blasts towards the end.
In the bowling, Arshdeep takes the charge of bowling attack and he proves his worth. He is the leading wicket taker from his side. He takes 4 wickets against MI. Rahul Chahar showing his spin talent in the team. Nathan Ellis was mostly expensive in his spells.
