ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE (RCB) Analysis:
PC: India Today
RCB is going in a great winning way. They won back to back two matches. Lastly they won against RR in a close finishing game.
The trio of RCB batting lineup is performing superb in this IPL. Virat and du Plessis always started well in this season. du Plessis in his last innings was shown some firecrackers in the starting. Virat was out on a golden duck but still he is going good in the IPL. These two are also in the list of orange cap. Maxwell, the beauty of shots he is playing, is just looking too good. His rocket fire innings boosted the team score in just a few minutes. He loves Chinnaswamy so much that in his last 4 matches he scored 3 half centuries. Dinesh Karthik must step forward for his batting. He continuously failed to score big.
Harshal Patel is back in form and his special slow deliveries are working again. He grabbed 3 wickets against RR. Mohd Siraj is also in great form, stopping the opposition to score more. David Willey came in place of Hazelwood performing well and providing some break through.
KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS (KKR) Analysis:
PC: Sportstar-The Hindu
Knight Riders weren’t able to win the matches and they lost back to back 4 matches. Their combined team effort is missing.
Talking about their batting KKR like last season they this season also started experimenting in the opening combination. They do not get a perfect opening pair. This thing troubles them alot. Despite this, some batters are performing well. Rinku Singh the man in form showing some great class of batting. Venkatesh Iyer after his century does not provide any well performing innings for the team. Jason Roy was looking brutal against CSK in his last match. The most powerful hitter in T20 Andre Russell is missing his hitting skills due to which KKR had to suffer. Nitish Rana is also not performing in a consistent manner.
The most troubling point for KKR is their bowling, especially their pace attack. They just give away runs. Umesh, Ferguson, Khejroliya and Shardul all were going expensive. Due to this opposition were going 200+ easily. KKR’s main strength is their spinners. Varun, Narine and Suyash are providing some wickets in between the overs but still they sometimes go with heavy runs.
HEAD TO HEAD (KKR vs RCB):
They played 31 matches against each other.
KKR | RCB | |
WON | 17 | 14 |
HIGHEST SCORE | 222 | 213 |
LOWEST SCORE | 84 | 49 |
Pitch Report:

But in this IPL batting first team always made a huge amount of runs and then they defended somehow. It is expected that the captain winning the toss could go bowling.
