RR with just a single loss is standing at the top of the table. Their incredible start to the season is what they actually want.
Their openers Jaiswal and Butler put pressure on the opposition from the start. They just start blasting from the very first over. Jos Butler again stands in the list of holding the orange cap. Sanju Samson gives his best in each of the matches. His last innings against GT where he started slow and then he started accelerating his innings with a great pace. Shimron Hetmyer, the match winner against GT changes the match atmosphere in his favor. He is just a deadly finisher in the squad. Ashwin and Parag also contribute with their bat sometimes.
Chahal once again topped in the list of purple cap. His wicket taking ability along with economical spells helps his team win the matches. R Ashwin also accompanied him with the same. Boult again takes the charge of providing a breakthrough in his initial overs. Sandeep Sharma’s last two match spells is showing how much his importance means to the team.
Hetmyer’s heroic innings snatches the win from GT.
LUCKNOW SUPER GIANTS (LSG) Analysis:

LSG must be happy that their skipper KL Rahul is back in form. His last inning against PBKS provides a competitive total to fight on. Kyle Mayers consistency made de Kock sit in the dressing room. Mayers proved his worth through his destruction at the start. Deepak Hooda is still finding his rhythm. Krunal Pandya also couldn’t get his bat sound well except in one match.
Nicholas Pooran was out on a golden duck against PBKS but we all know how destructive he can be in the death and also in the middle. He already shows his destruction against RCB who makes his team able to win the match. Stoinis and Badoni didn’t finish off the things which are required by the teams.
Mark Wood debuts with the 5 wicket haul just behind Chahal in purple cap. He provides early break through for his team and is the leading wicket taker for his team also. Ravi Bishnoi is also in the race of purple cap. He damages the opposition with his leggies. He damages the opposition in the middle overs. Krunal and Avesh are looking for some more good spells as is expected by LSG.
