CHENNAI SUPER KINGS (CSK) Analysis:
PC- Probatsman
Chennai might be in a worry that their many players are facing injuries and they have to look into other players. Dhoni was also seen in some trouble in the last match. But he might be able to play against RCB.
Looking at their batting CSK openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway started well. They make good partnerships at the beginning. Ruturaj is in the race of orange cap. In the middle order Ajinkya Rahane played two matches he scored great with a good strike rate. Shivam Dube and Moeen Ali still have to show something great with their bat. Ambati Rayudu is looking out of touch. Finishers like Dhoni and Jadeja are doing their duty right and they make the ball reach the spectators.
Fast bowling is majorly a concern for CSK. Many of them were injured including Ben Stokes and the ones who were there were unable to stop runs. Tushar Despande and Akash Singh conceded too many runs. Jadeja and Moeen Ali try to make some effort in stopping the runs and rest remains restless.
Against RCB Jadeja had a great record against. He always disturbs Maxwell and Kohli through his wrist spin. He dismissed Maxwell 6 times. Dhoni’s strike rate against Siraj is very high but had a low strike rate in Bengaluru.
Mahi heroic last moment goes in vain.
ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE (RCB) Analysis:
PC- India Today
RCB is mainly dependent upon their three batsmen: Kohli, du Plessis and Maxwell. Kohli is providing a great start and tries to put pressure on the opposition team. Faf du Plessis also contributed with the same pace. These two in the opening match provided a great partnership through which RCB was able to post a good score. Maxwell also tries to clear the ground with his powerful hitting. Dinesh Karthik didn’t finish things as expected by RCB. Lomror and Anuj Rawat are still in search of runs.
RCB’s main concern always starts with their bowlers. They had to make a high amount of effort to stop the opposition even if they scored 200+ runs. In their last game against DC, Siraj got the length right and Harshal was also able to find some good length. Hasaranga’s engagement to the team will be a bit of relief for RCB. Vyshak Vijay Kumar 1st match was also a relief for RCB, since he clinched 3 wickets against DC.
Kohli’s heroic innings takes RCB to a win.
