Australia (AUS) Analysis:

Aussies started there with two losses but bounced back in the next two matches. The 5 times World champion is showing the way that they were the most deserving one. They are getting their rhythm back and were brilliant in both batting and bowling departments. Just they need to be more consistent with the fielding as they drop many catches in this tournament.

David Warner getting his rhythm back after hitting a century in the last match against Pakistan. He scored 228 runs with a strike rate of 109.09. In his last match he scored a brilliant 163 runs. Mitchell Marsh also relaxes after hitting a century. He scored 121 runs. Till now in the World Cup he scored 1 century and 1 half century. A highly aggressive batsman, if he gets going then the bowler will definitely be in danger. 

Steve Smith is one of the strongest batsmen in the World in number 3 position but till now he scored 72 runs in 4 matches. He is getting out early. His highest score in this tournament till now is 46 runs which comes against India. Marnus Labuschagne started well but was unable to convert his innings into a big one. He got out in 40’s two times. Due to his recent brilliant performance he was selected intp the World Cup squad later on. 

Glenn Maxwell the hard hitter of the team has not been so good with the bat but with the ball he is looking impressive. Although he has got 3 wickets till now, his economy is very impressive. Marcus Stoinis the other destructive batter from the side has not been showing destruction in this tournament till now, with the scores of 5, 20* & 21 runs. 

Josh Inglis has taken the responsibility of wicket-keeping and in his first match he made a brilliant 58 runs for his team. Pat Cummins the leader of the side showing some power hitting in the death overs and with the ball he got 5 wickets till now. He is using his experience in the matches. Mitchell Starc took 6 wickets for his team and was bowling aggressively in the starting and death overs. 

Josh Hazelwood has been bowling well till now with 5 wickets in his pocket. Against India he took 3 wickets and almost put them on the back foot but was unable to clinch victory for his team. Adam Zampa started the tournament with his expensive spell but in the last two matches he took 4 wickets and showed his brilliancy. Till now he got 9 wickets with the economical spells.

Vikramjit Singh the young lad from the team has shown brilliant batting against Pakistan where he scored his half century, but after that innings in the last three matches he just scored 12, 2 & 4 runs. Max O’Dowd made only 55 runs in the World Cup till now. He needs to be more consistent to give his team a solid start. 

Colin Ackermann one of the experienced players in the squad had shown brilliancy in both the departments. He took 5 wickets till now and scored a half century against New Zealand. Bas de Leede has taken 7 wickets till now in the tournament which is the most by a Dutch player in this tournament. He started with a half century against Pakistan but after that he was unable to score many runs. 

Teja Nidamanuru hasn’t been consistent with his batting. In 4 matches he scored 5, 21, 20 & 9 runs. He needs to be more consistent in the middle overs so that he can contribute much with the bat for his team. Scott Edwards the skipper of the team played a brilliant innings against South Africa due to which they were able to put up great runs. He was the Player of the Match in that match for his 78 runs knock. 

Sybrand Engelbrecht played a superb innings of 70 runs in the last match against Sri Lanka and took his team to a respectable score. He can bat in a destructive manner which easily inflates the run rate of the team. Logan van Beek also played a great innings of 59 runs against Lankans and took 3 wickets against the Proteas. 

Roelof van der Merwe carries a huge experience in international circuits, and this shows against the Proteas where he scored 29 runs in 19 balls and took 2 important wickets. Not only this he was brilliant in the fielding also. Aryan Dutt the opening bowler of the team had taken 6 wickets till now with an impressive economy of 4.94. He creates problems for the opposition in the starting few overs with his swing. 

Paul van Meekeren grabbed 6 wickets in the tournament so far. He is one of the key bowlers for the team in the middle overs. Ryan Klein did not perform well with his bowling and didn’t take any wickets. Saqib Zulfiqar also wasn’t able to perform with his bowling.
