Vijay Shankar takes the charge of middle order and provides a worthy knock to the team. Hardik Pandya’s great knock is still waiting but we all know if he settles down then ground will be small for him. David Miller’s destruction at the end makes it comfortable for GT to post a huge score against any team.
Their bowlers, especially Rashid Khan and Mohd Shami, are always at the right time. The wrist spinner not only provides wickets but also with his economical bowling makes difficult for the opposition team to score. Alzarri Joseph always provides useful contribution to the team which not only helps the team but also takes away some burden from the Shami in the death overs.
Discussing the last game that they played against KKR, all the things were in their favor except for the last 5 balls which changed their destiny. After winning the toss GT bat first and posted a score of 204/4 which was a good one. After that Rashid Khan’s hattrick made the win easier for the team but in the last over Rinku Singh smashed the last 5 balls out of the ground against Yash Dayal and as a result KKR won the match by 3 wickets.

PUNJAB KINGS (PBKS) Analysis:

PBKS hattrick win was stopped by SRH during their last clash. Now Dhawan will be happy after the returning of Liam Livingstone to the squad. But the management will be in a tough situation with whom they will pick between Rabada and Nathan Ellis because Ellis till now had performed well in the season. And they must also be fixed between Sikander Raza And Bhanuka Rajapaksa.
Dhawan the leading run scorer in the season till now holding the orange cap. He not only leads the team but also takes the full responsibility in terms of run scoring. Prabhsimran Singh also supported him in the opening providing useful runs at the start. Sam Curran the costliest hero in the IPL is still in search of his great knock but PBKS is still confident that he will be back at any time.
Arshdeep Singh takes the charge of opening bowlers and provides some crucial early wickets. He is well supported by Nathan Ellis who also takes the wickets at the right time. Rahul Chahar holding the spin department and also through his proper line length makes it difficult for the opposition to score high.
In their last match against SRH, except Dhawan no one else showed any kind of support to him due to which PBKS was restricted at 143/9 especially credit goes to Dhawan who scored 99 runs not out. After that SRH easily chased down the target with the help of Rahul Tripathi and Aiden Markram. Tripathi scored 74 runs in 48 balls and Markram scored 37 runs in 21 balls. SRH won the match by 8 wickets.
