India (IND) Analysis:

The host nation team India is going great with securing 6 points in 3 matches and are placed 1st in the points of the World Cup. They won their first match against Australia by 6 wickets, second match against Afghanistan by 8 wickets and third win against their arch rival Pakistan by 7 wickets

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma started his World Cup journey with a zero but in the last two matches he scored 131 & 86 runs. He created pressure among the bowlers from the starting as he showed his destruction from the starting. Shubman Gill after recovering from dengue played his first match against Pakistan where he scored just 16 runs but still he looked comfortable with the shots he played during his innings.

Virat Kohli scored 156 runs till now in 3 matches in which 2 half centuries were included. He is getting his rhythm back and playing his traditional shots which maintain his rhythm. Also his skill of converting the single into doubles and doubles into triples makes fielders restless in the field. Shreyas Iyer after scoring zero in the first match, then in the next two matches he scored 25 & 53 runs and in both the matches he remained not out.

KL Rahul only batted in two matches and in both the matches he remained unbeaten with the scores of 97 & 19 runs. After his comeback he is looking more dangerous and more consistent with the bat. Hardik Panyda didn’t get much batting time but with the bowl he looked very confident and took 5 wickets till now. He was a little expensive with his spells but gave the team a major breakthrough.

Ravindra Jadeja is very obedient with his line and length and he has got 5 wickets till now. Till now he didn’t get his batting. Kuldeep Yadav is the main leading spinner from the side and has got 5 wickets till now. His leg spin finds batsmen hard to read. Jasprit Bumrah is the leading wicket taker in the World Cup and grabbed 8 wickets in 3 matches. He is lethal with the new ball and his yorker is his key weapon.

Mohammad Siraj after some expensive spells in the first two matches, made his comeback where he got 2 important wickets of Abdullah Shafiq and Babar Azam which ultimately shifted the momentum to their side. Shardul Thakur is not getting much opportunity with the ball. But he is famous for breaking the long partnerships with his bowling. Ravichandran Ashwin played the first match where he took 1 wicket by giving away only 34 runs in his 10 overs.

Bangladesh (BAN) Analysis:

The Bengal Tigers started their journey with a victory over Afghanistan by 6 wickets. But in the next two matches they were not looking in a winning frame of mind. They lost the match against England by 137 runs and then they lost against New Zealand by 8 wickets

The star opener from the side Liton Das except against England he failed to give the team a great start. In his three matches he scored 13, 76 and 0. He needs to be more dynamic with his shot selection. The other opener, Tanzid Hasan, failed to establish a good connection with the bat and scored 22 in 3 matches.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz has shown some exceptional performance with the bat and also with the bowl. Against Afghansitan his all round performance helped the team to get a clinical victory. But after the first match he was unable to get some wickets. Shakib Al Hasan is also doing well in both the departments. Till now he scored 55 runs and took 5 wickets. He is known as one of the greatest all rounders and this time also he is leading the team.

Mushfiqur Rahim, the most dependable batsman in the squad and also in the middle order. He showed his experience in the last two matches where he scored 51 & 66 runs with his bat. Till now he has made 119 runs. Towhid Hridoy is well known for his hard hitting skills but till now it was not seen. Against England he scored 39 runs but it came in 61 balls.

Mahmudullah is also an experienced player from the squad and has played 2 matches till now. Against New Zealand he looked little better where he scored 41 runs and remained unbeaten till the end. He can also bowl which can add some benefits to the team. Najmul Hossain Shanto played an unbeaten knock of 59 runs against Afghans but after that knock he was unable to score much and out on a single digit.

Mahedi Hasan played just one match against England and there he took 4 wickets and scored 14 runs. He performs well in both the departments and it is highly expected that he might play in the next match. Taskin Ahmed, the most experienced player in the pace department hasn’t shown his best till now and got 2 wickets in 3 matches. Mustafizur Rahman also failed to grab wickets as he got only 2 wickets. He is failing to stop the batters with his slow bouncers for which he is known for.

Shoriful Islam has taken 5 wickets till now in the tournament but his spells were highly expensive. He needs to be more accurate with his line so that he can be economical.
