Match 10: AUS vs SA| Match Analysis| Pitch Report| Best 11

The 10th match of the tournament will be played between Australia (AUS) and South Africa (SA).

Australia (AUS) Analysis:

They lost their inaugural match against India by 6 wickets. They scored only 199 runs but they fought heavily and took 3 early wickets and put them on the back foot, but as the match progressed they lost touch and the match too.

David Warner is looking in good touch and scoring runs with a brilliant average. Before the World Cup he scored back to back half centuries and also in his first match looking solid in his batting. Not only this he batted superbly in the IPL (Indian Premier League). Mitchell Marsh got out on a duck in the first match. But he has the capability to change things as he already proved how destructive can be in the starting overs if he gets settled down.

Steve Smith is looking great against India but unfortunate later on as he is unable to convert it into a big one. He is a  dangerous batter in the 3rd number and proved many times with his bat. Marnus Labuschagne is a key player for the team. Earlier he was dropped from the squad and was later added to the squad as Ashton Agar was injured and he was his replacement. He is a beast in his recent few matches and is scoring runs with a great strike rate.

Glenn Maxwell now is more effective with the bowl than his batting. He added one more option to the team. But the bat is looking a little ineffective. Looking a little out of touch with the bat and needs to be more fluent with it, since he has the capacity to score runs with speed. Alex Carey is also struggling with his form and is unable to score much in the death overs. Cameron Green is used as a pinch hitter and can also bat as an opener. He is flexible as a batter but needs to be more consistent with the bowl. He can switch the gear in the death overs easily.

Travis Head is a great hitter of the bowl and is a nightmare to the bowlers if he gets settled down. Also he has the ability to bowl slow balls. Marcus Stoinis a great allrounder for the team has the ability to hit powerful shots and can add as a valuable bowler. Josh Inglis is used as a substitute keeper in the squad.

Pat Cummins the skipper of the team is showing good hands with the bat along with the bowl. Whenever he comes to bat he contributes well in the death overs and also shows his capability of taking wickets in the middle. Mitchell Starc can also damage the batters in the initial overs and also in the death. A good wicket taking option for the Aussies. Also in the last match he contributed valuable runs in the end.

Josh Hazelwood in the last match where he took two early wickets and also dismissed Virat Kohli in the later half of the match but it was too late for the team. Adam Zampa is the key spinner for the team but in the first match was looking little consistent as he was played easily by the batters. He has the ability to turn out the batters with his spin. Sean Abbott is a great option for the team as he bowls well in the middle overs and in the death overs. Also he shows some handy knocks with the bat in a few matches.

Predicted 11 for the Match:

Pat Cummins ©, David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschgane, Glenn Maxwell, Alex Carey (wk), Cameron Green, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazelwood, Adam Zampa.

South Africa (SA) Analysis:

Probably all the team wants that start which Proteas get. They posted the highest World Cup score. Also they established more records in their inaugural match. They won that match against Sri Lanka by 102 runs

Quinton de Kock played a superb innings and scored a century in their first match of the tournament. He started a little slow but after that showed his destructiveness. Already he played in the IPL from different franchises and has a great experience playing in India. Temba Bavuma, skipper of the team and the opener also. He was disappointed with the bat in the first match but has the capacity to score big with defensive approach.

Rassie van der Dussen was the other centurion of the day. He scored a brilliant century and scored 200+ runs partnership with de Kock. he started his innings slowly and after setting it down played all over the ground. Aiden Markram showed his beast form in that match and scored the fastest century in the World Cup. He batted aggressively from the beginning which ultimately gifted him the fastest century. Also a great threat in the middle overs.

Heinrich Klassen is in great form and scoring according to the situation. Also he batted brilliantly in the IPL which will help him in the tournament. He can switch the gears easily in the death overs. David Miller, the killer of the bowlers, a pinch hitter is a nightmare to the bowlers in the death overs. He can easily show his destruction and is well known for his hard hitting.

Marco Jansen, a tall guy from the side, is an effective bowler. He can also bat lower down the order. Gerald Coetzee who played his first World Cup match got 3 wickets despite being little expensive in his spell. In the absence of Nortje, he bowled brilliantly. Keshav Maharaj is the main spinner of the team. He got 2 wickets in that match and can bat well in the lower order. Andile Phehlukwayo is another allrounder who got a chance in the squad in place of Nortje.

Kagiso Rabada is the main pacer of the team and can disturb the batters whenever he wants. His bouncer is mostly unplayable. Lungi Ngidi is the other main pacer of the team and has the responsibility to take early wickets with Rabada. Tabraiz Shamsi is the other spinner of the team who can get wickets in the middle overs and is highly effective in the dry pitches.

Predicted 11 for the Match:

Temba Bavuma ©, Quinton de Kock (wk), Rassie van der Dussen, Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klassen, David Miller, Marco Jansen, Kagiso Rabada, Keshav Maharaj, Lungi Ngidi, Gerald Coetzee.
