Teams Analysis
India (IND):
They are undefeated team in this tournament having won all their 4 matches while one had been washed out due to rain against Canada. Their batting has been decent but their bowling is looking more dangerous. The performance of this team is a combined one and they benefited from this.
In the batting unit, Rishabh Pant is leading the way for the team as most runs scorer after scoring 116 runs till now. Though he is yet to get a half-century to his name in this season, his contributions make a huge impact to the team. His best was against Pakistan where he scored 42 runs and his strike rate till now is 131.82.
Skipper Rohit Sharma who started the season with a brilliant 52 runs knock against Ireland, has been little out of track as he got dismissed early on. Due to which his strike rate dipped down to 111.76, which is hardly seen from him. On the other hand, Virat Kohli is struggling with the bat. Though he looked a little solid against Afghanistan where he scored 24 runs but didn’t take that to much longer. His strike rate is 87.88 and needs to make it much better in the upcoming matches.
Suryakumar Yadav is looking in fine touch after he scored back to back half-centuries. He has scored 112 runs till now. In the last match against Afghanistan he looked in his destruction form and scored a super fast 53 runs in just 28 balls. Hardik Pandya also contributed well in both the departments. In the last match he batted well and scored 32 runs. With the bowl he has taken 7 wickets till now with an economy of 5.57.
Arshdeep Singh is currently the most wickets taken by an Indian bowler in this season with 10 to his name. His economy is 6.94 and contribute with the bowl in each match. Jasprit Bumrah is highly consistent with the bowl as batters find him very hard to play. He has got 8 wickets till now, with an impressive economy of 3.47. Whenever he came to bowl, he got the nerves of the batters quite easily.
Probable Playing 11 of India (IND):
Rohit Sharma ©, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah.
Bangladesh (BAN):
Their bowling has been looking much more decent then their batting. They need little strength in their batting unit as except for only 2 players, none of them showing the courage to stay on the pitch for a longer period of time. In the group stage also, due to their bowling they managed to get the victories.
In the batting unit, Towhid Hridoy has been mostly seen consistent in the middle order and contributes most runs for the team till now. He added 135 runs and had a strike rate of 129.81. His best came against Australia where he scored 40 runs.
After him Shakib Al Hasan scored most runs for the team. He scored 100 runs till now and has scored one half-century till now that came against Netherlands in the crucial match. But with the bowl he didn’t get the result as expected as he took 2 wickets with an economy of 7.16. Skipper Nazmul Hossain Shanto looked little good in the last match as he scored 41 runs there, which definitely gave him the boost to perform in the upcoming matches as he was little out of touch with the bat in recent times.
In the bowling department, Rishad Hossain and Tanzim Hasan Sakib got most wickets for the team. Both have taken 9 wickets till now. Rishad has an economy of 6.94 while Tanzim has an economy of 5.06. Rishad took the challenge of the middle overs whereas Tanzim troubled the batters in the powerplay.
Mustafizur Rahman and Taskin Ahmed both got 7 wickets each till now. Mustafizur has a brilliant economy of 4.28, which is the best among the players in the team while Taskin has an economy of 7.21.
