India-Pakistan match has been called off

As expected rain spoiled the India-Pakistan match. Due to continuous raining the outfield gets wet and the match was called off due to the damp patches in the ground. Only 24.1 overs were bowled and India scored 147 runs by losing 2 wickets. 

As the match has a reserve day as announced by ACC, now the match will be played tomorrow and it will resume from where it stopped. 

Pakistan already won their 1st match of the Super Four by defeating Bangladesh by 7 wickets

Pakistan won the toss and after winning the toss they elected to bowl first.

Indian openers Rohit Sharma (56 runs) and Shubman Gill (58 runs) started with the destruction. Both of them made 121 runs for the 1st wicket. Gill showed good hands against the pace whereas Rohit picked the only spinner who played Shadab Khan and showed no mercy to him. 

Gill hit 10 fours and took 52 balls to reach his final score. Whereas Rohit took 49 balls to get that score and hit 6 fours and 4 sixes. In the end, Virat Kohli (8 runs) and KL Rahul (17 runs) remained unbeaten and they will resume their innings tomorrow. 

Shaheen Afridi and Shadab Khan took 1 wicket each.
